My worst online experience ever. They do not list simple policy statements close to the place where you choose your options. Like not shipping ballon outside province and replacing them with other stuff after you already payed for. shipping in regular postal boxes for outside province. And also not accepting cancellation even immediate one. Saying we will not be able to deliver on the time you choose although all the listed options said they can. This is horrible

It looks as though this company started a new Unilocal page– you should see their original one– 37 bad reviews and 3 good ones. Wish I has seen it first. Just had a terrible experience with this company. Ordered an organic fruit basket for my family who just had a new baby, they are out of the Toronto Area and I did not pay additional shipping for a fast delivery so the company sent a basket of junk food — chips, chocolate etc. The customer service manager told me that it is company policy that if you do not upgrade your shipping on perishable items the automatically& arbitrarily ship out a basket of their choosing. She could also not confirm what was in the basket as there are no records apparently. The worst bit is I ordered the basket on 2 Feb and the junk food basket was delivered on 4 Feb? The original fruit would have still been perfect and there is absolutely no reason to pay upgraded shipping or have my basket changed. So disappointed– shoddy business practices– stay far far away!

I placed an order over the phone from Florida for a delivery to my elderly mother on her 85th birthday. I asked it to be a custom basket because of her age she is very particular and the girl I spoke to was very helpful and helped me build a basket according to my budget which was just over $ 100. I was very specific about the items included. She took note of the things even the brands that they had available that would suit our needs. The basket was delivered and fairly timely manner on the day requested and I loved seeing real-time map of the delivery coming to her house. The problem was that the items in the basket did not match what I ordered. I received only one bottle out of two that I requested they put in things like jellybeans two packages salt water taffy and another chewy item that I didn’t even mention and does not work for an elderly person obviously. They did not include the cookies that I wanted and they got the wrong cheese. The type of basket packaging was also not what I requested: Basically it was an incorrect order. After sending a picture and speaking to a customer service agent I was told I would be called by end of day that did not occur and I received a call back today a voicemail stating that they would be sending over the missing bottle. I’m not satisfied with that solution I would like the items I ordered unfortunately it is now in the hands of a manager that needs to approve what should be an obvious correction. I am very disappointed and frustrated as I’d hoped I found a solution to gifts for my long-distance family.
