History

Established in 2011.

The owner of the business, Michael Peever, is a graduate of Wilfid Laurier University in Waterloo and studied accounting and tax there. He was a high school business teacher until his retirement in 2014. During his tenure in education, he also taught at Queens University in the Faculty of Education teaching Business Studies Education. He is a certified QuickBooks Advisor and a certified Insolvency Councellor through the Ministry of Industry and is a Qualified Insolvency Administrator. His expertise in all aspects of business has led to his establishing Peever Financial Solutions Ltd., and Harbourfront Tax.

Michael is a family man and has been married for over 30 years to his lovely wife, Mariette. They have two grown children — Aaron and Melanie. Michael is passionate about helping families establish solid financial plans. After graduating from university Michael became a high school business teacher and taught accounting for over 25 years!
