We also rent & service any kind of coin operated amusement device and our showroom is available to be rented for events and spectacular memorable parties!

History

Established in 1932.

Reginald Charles Gilchrist first opened the doors of the business in 1932 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as R.C. Gilchrist Vending Ltd. What started as a small family run distributor/​repair company for jukeboxes and other coin operated games grew to a large corporation spawning companies like Universal Shuffleboards and saw a lot of firsts for its kind in the industry within Canada. Some of Gilchrist’s first include: parking meters, cigarette vending machines, food vending machines, dollar bill changers, shoe shine vending machines, permission to operate phonograph, shuffleboards and pool tables in licensed hotels across Ontario as well as the 1^st to distribute the «Space Invader» and «Pac Man» video games which were a hugely popular in the 1980’s.

Reginald’s son, Tom Gilchrist took ownership of the company in 1975 and with it the name changed to T.W. Gilchrist Vending Ltd. Tom remains president but keeps the memory of his fathers sales techniques and lessons he was taught alive in every aspect of his business. The staff have always been friendly and dedicated to providing the best service possible. The products have always been great quality and kept current to the demands of the day. Now in its most current form, Gilchrist Games mentality is GOOD TIMES. GREAT GAMES.
