Really old library, as far as service, computer and room to sit read and study its not there. But it’s an old branch looks nice from the outside but it’s lacking outside being find/pick up a book and go.

Wifi, programmes, computers, books, groups, dvds, cds, helpful librarians … This library is a great boon to the neighbourhood.

This is one of the smaller older public libraries I’ve been to in Toronto. The selection isn’t fantastic and there’s only limited seating. Which isn’t to say I don’t like it — In my books, any library is a good library. The staff at this location have always been lovely, there are public computers available as well as many seminars and classes about everything from income tax forms to job searches, and they recently got that fancy RFID check out I love so much. Besides, it’s right near my house and I can request items from any other TPL location be delivered to me here. If you find yourself at this library, take a moment to visit the second floor, whether you need to or not — it has all kinda of character, and even a couple of window seats.
