History

Established in 1986.

Founded by Paul Gallagher, Mr Gallagher has now retired and decided to follow a lifelong dream to make wine in Prince Edward County.

The Mannisto in question is Robert (Rob) Mannisto, the managing partner of the firm.

G&M’s other partner, Ian Dever, is such a modest fellow that he couldn’t bear to see his name in lights, hence the omission of «the Dev» from the name of the firm.

Both partners are avid golfers and are looking forward to the conclusion of this winter of discontent so they can pursue true happiness in the form of a small white dimpled ball.
