My lashes got damaged because I used the horrible«bombshell» mascara from cover girl… While looking for instant solutions, and tired of putting glue on my eyes, I discovered the lash extensions. After reading the reviews of three different places, I got captivated by the before/after pictures of Fembotika. I called yesterday, left a message, and Colleen called me back today. She asked for my credit card info, and $ 40 deposit to confirm the appointment(amount deducted from the cost of the package you pick). The place is in an office building, the repo sets are super comfy, and she offered me candies and chocolates(the chocolates are sick). Colleen was really nice; she gave me a form to fill about allergies and medical conditions, she explained me the methodology, and told me to ask her about any doubt. I didn’t feel any unpleasant sensation, and I just can say she likes what she does because she is a pro(she’s been doing this since 2008). I got the medium package: 55 lashes per eye at 135+ tax. It took her one hour. She put some patches down my eye to protect the lower lashes, and I needed to be with the eyes closed during the whole procedure, until she told me my new semi permanent falsies were ready to blink/wink. She advised me not to use oily makeup remover, and invited me to give her a call if I have any doubt. I’m so happy with the result that I won’t use mascara… Ok only on weekends… So girls, this last sentence is the main Not to Do after putting the lashes… If you day dream like I usually do… Don’t be afraid of asking several times about the same question, especially if you are taking a treatment, procedure, or beauty service(for sure they will tell you everything you must follow, while you are thinking about your favourite quesadillas joint…). So I just put a post it in the mirror of the washroom, to remind me to mix the makeup remover with water before using it, and I just hid the mascara. PS. I’m in love with the results of this beauty trick!!!

I wanted to write a review to explain why it’s important to go to an experienced lash extension salon like Fembotika VS a low-end to save a few bucks. I’ve been getting my lashes done with Colleen for a few years. She is always concerned for my lash health and eye health. She is honest if I need to go on a break to let my lashes grow out a bit, and she always makes sure to keep glue out of my eyes. She also uses gel pads under the eyes. and most importantly she never glues the lashes to my skin. The reason why I mention this is because a year or so ago I decided to try out a cheap option with a lady who did lashes out of her house. when i was done, my eye was really red and infected, they glued some of the lashes to my skin and they used the stick-on pads, which can damage the under-eye skin when they’re ripped off. Needless to say it showed me why going somewhere with an experienced technician is important and worth the price. And just a last few notes about Fembotika: They have a cozy, comfortable chair-bed to lie on during the process, when you’re lying there for an hour or longer my back never starts to hurt, in fact sometimes i almost fall asleep. Colleen has mentioned to me that she is always hunting down and using the best glues on the market and tests stuff out to see what works best so that lashes stay on the longest possible. Colleen is also friendly and fun to chat with. Lastly and most importantly, the lashes always look flattering and are evenly spaced. can’t wait for my next appointment :)

I had spent a fair amount of time researching places to get my lashes done, and finally settled on Fembotika, despite mixed reviews on Unilocal.I’m unsure WHY anyone has any complaints, because Colleen provides a fantastic service! She always explains the entire process from start to finish, I experience no discomfort or pain, and the end result is always gorgeous and enduring(3 – 4 weeks before a fill is needed). So while these lashes aren’t cheap, I have faith that you get what you pay for and will be coming back regularly.

I’ve had terrible experiences with eyelash extensions in the past and Fembotika made up for them all! Colleen is so passionate and knowledgeable about her product and services, she knows exactly what she’s doing and the results are incredible. If you’re considering testing the waters with eyelash extensions, call Colleen and make an appointment, you won’t be disappointed.

What a lovely and relaxing experience! Colleen really takes the time to explain each step and works with you to develop the best look for your face and lifestyle. It was my first time at Fembotika and the lash techs were great. They really make you feel like you’re catching up over a coffee with some girlfriends. My lashes look great and I would definitely recommend this place. :)

I love lashes by Fembotika. Colleen is really very passionate about her work and puts a lot of attention into safety of the eyes. Also, she really does an amazing job. It was the first time I ever had my lashes done and I tried a few places since and nothing compared. I totally recommend her.

This is a fantastic eyelash extension salon. The clinicians are extremely professional and the space is clean and bright. This is the only salon in town that uses a soft glue that isn’t chunky or and doesn’t dry super hard. The lashes last up to five weeks. I would fully recommend anyone to try a set — they change your whole face, you end up wearing less makeup, and it really makes everyone look 100% hotter. But be cafeful where you go — I had a bad experience in Montréal but Colleen at Fembotika is amazing and the work she does is so exact and perfect.
