I had really, really low expectations going in since I read the reviews on Unilocal.I was very pleasantly surprised. We went in during a Watters trunk show at 4pm on Friday. It was pretty busy, but my MOH and i still had a little section of the room to ourselves.
Felichia is a great place to go if you’re the sort of bride (or your friends are the sort) who likes to pick your own dresses. They hand you 5 clips or so (of a single color) and tell you to look through the ~100 dresses and clip your colored clip to the gowns you want to try. Only when you’re done does the attendant come to help you. The manager (or owner?) of the store was our attendant, and so he took the dresses to me in the change room one by one to try on. He put back any definite «no“s and left out the ones I loved.
I was then torn between two dresses – an A-​line dress and a fit & flare. My attendant asked me if there was anything I could change with either, what would it be – he was hoping to go pull some more dresses for me that were similar to see if that helped, which I really appreciated. Turns out my answer was «nothing» since I was absolutely in love with both of them. so instead he helped me try them on again and took photos with his phone so I could swipe back and forth between them to figure out which one I wanted (they have a no photo policy, so my MOH couldn’t use her phone).
Let me add here, that neither dress would have been comfortably in my budget – they were both ~$ 2500, but since the new samples were about to come in and the store is pretty small, they were both on sample sale for ~$ 1500! I was really lucky because both of them fit me well, and were in fabulous condition. In the end I went with the one that was more «me» (the A-​line) and am so happy with my purchase. It fits me like a glove and will only need to be hemmed. I’m so thrilled with the deal I got, and know that I’ll be able to resell it after the wedding and recoup the majority of what I paid! And as I mentioned – PRISTINE condition, it really looks brand spankin’ new.
TLDR:
— yep, this store is much more hands on than what you see on SYTTD. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, you just need to know.
— yep, it’s a small store that can get a bit crowded – book ahead, and don’t bring a massive bridal party (Hello bride with a dozen friends and family members «helping» her shop… FWIW they fit, though barely.)
— if you can get past that, they have beautiful dresses, and amazing sample prices (and competitive full price – the going rate of the dress I got is $ 2000 to $ 2500 USD so anything below $ 2640 CAD for full price is a steal)
— I bought my dress for $ 1500 CAD, since it’s a sample, and it’s brand spankin’ new and fits like a GLOVE. Seriously, this thing was made for me.

Nope… I did not feel comfortable here. My main consultant was actually very nice, but the owner and another employee there were quite sour and not friendly. Overall I would not recommend this store due to the poor customer service. Stores I’d recommend: Dina Alonzi ($$$$), Jealous Bridesmaids ($), Sash and Bustle ($$), Lee-​Ann Belter ($$$), White Toronto ($$$$).

Miserably bad. I went there on time but cuz they booked so many people during that hour, I have to wait for 40 mins and turned out I wouldn’t have enough time for trying dresses. Male sales was pretty impolite without even saying sorry but telling me to leave. If you don’t want to ruin your wedding gown shopping day, don’t even bother to go there.

Felichia Bridal was the third bridal store that I went to and was definitely my favourite — I felt extremely comfortable here and not at all pressured. I met with Roisin who was wonderful, she let me look around and also helped me locate dresses that I had expressed I wanted to try. I was the only one in the store as it was a weekday afternoon and I did not feel rushed what so ever. I was also able to buy my gown directly off the rack at a slightly discounted price since I was the sample size they had in — huge perk!

I went here to try on wedding dresses with two friends and was not pleased with the experience. While they do have a good selection of Watters dresses along with other similar designers, I found those working in the store were not very helpful.
We had an appointment but were forced to wait for 15 minutes before we were able to start trying on dresses, even though there was a free fitting room. We were given clamps to put on the dresses we wanted to try on, however they didn’t bring us all the dresses we had asked to try on. The fitting room was exceptionally small with the radiator heater in the room making it uncomfortably warm. They didn’t help with putting on or trying the dresses at all. The staff barely spoke with us. Every single dress sample is a size 8, no varation, making it difficult to try different styles. They didn’t discuss alteration options or anything like that. At the end of the appointment we left feeling like we wasted an hour and a half of our time.
I’ve had a better experience with staff, ambiance, and selection at every other store I’ve been to thus far.

Bought my wedding dress here and they were very helpful while not too pushy. They have a great selection of Watters and Wtoo if you like those lines.
Appointments for fittings were set up easily by email and the seamstress/​tailor that they use was very professional. I recommend!

Called for an appointment but the guy said to set it up on their site as he was on lunch. That was the first red flag. Anyway, he said that the time I want is available so I did it online. While I was doing that (which took about 5 min) he gave away my appt… I don’t think I will ever go to this place… Very unprofessional… I would be afraid to deal with the,…

In a bridesmaid. I came here w the other girls and bride to find a dress.
You have to call and make an appt, when you arrive you take your shoes off which is good so the bottom of the dresses don’t get dirty.
We were early for our appt at 330 on a Saturday. They only have two assistants helping out the brides, both of whom were busy. As the bride they ask you to fill out a survey when u get in about your preferences, and then give you a few coloured clips to go around the store and put a clip on the store. When it’s your turn they pull the dresses w the clips on them for you. The person who Is helping you is supposed to help get you into the dress.
So first of all, despite being early, we waited 20 mins into our appt bc the other two brides were taking so long. We noticed the maids of the brides choosing new dresses for the bride to try on despite their appt time being almost over/​over. Two of the dresses we clipped were actually pulled by them, the sales ppl didn’t tell them not to take the ones we selected and then ended up putting them back after being tried on, so they were lost forever since we didn’t know which ones they were.
Second of all, the samples to try on here are mostly a size 8 (wedding dress sizes run small). The other stores we went to earlier on (Beckers, Vogue) earlier on had larger sizes. A few of the dresses the bride selected didn’t fit.
Third, the sales staff have a very hands off approach. If you’re looking for tons of guidance this may not be the place for you. Our bride needed more guidance and advice from the sales associate. I think they may not know how to dress someone with curves, since the sales person seemed very helpful to the brides they were previously helping who were stick thin. The organization is lacking a bit as well so that wasn’t for me personally. no one was rude or unprofessional. Otherwise, the dresses tho are very pretty and fairly priced.

I went here for a Martina Liana trunk show. it was my second store and I had rpeviously fallen in love with a specific model. Thankfully the stroe alsoc arried the dress and our consultant Daniel was so very helpful. Things i liked: 1) he was attentive and invovled my family in the process, 2) he did an excellent job of recommending similar dresses 9there was naother he selected that also was a close call and 3) he beat the price from the other bridal salon. The only things I didnt like where that 1 of the dresses I couldnt really try on because the sample size was soooo small… i think it just makes it difficult for curvier girls (im an average sized girl) to get to try everything on. Regardless, I have my dress, and im very excited to come back for fittings and everything! Thanks Daniel!

Something about the experience here just did not rub me the right way. Of course, there are a few positives. First off, they have a really great selection of dresses. They also have trunk shows frequently. Also, their sample dresses are in great shape — not dirty and not worn.
But there was just something off about the whole thing. Some of their sample dresses run very small. My friend is not a big girl at all and she had two dresses that she couldn’t even fit into. Isn’t the point of having sample gowns so everyone can fit into them?
Our consultant was nice enough but I did not feel like he really took into consideration what my friend wanted. By the end of the appointment he was pulling random dresses that were like ginormous cupcakes, which she was totally not into. Also, he’d clip her dress to the point where it would have been impossible for her to sit down. It was almost as if he wasn’t sure on what was too tight and what was comfortable. He also said one dress fit well when it was obvious to myself and the other bridesmaids that it was way too tight in the hip and pulling.
It kind of bothered me that you had to take your shoes off when you came in the store. A couple of us had to use the bathroom downstairs and there was no sink, you had to use disposable moist cloths that were provided.
I don’t really know what it was but again, something just didn’t jive well with me during this appointment.

I really think my experience here could have been better, but I was unlucky and didn’t get a good consultant.
The dresses they have here rang from $ 1000 to $ 6000. I came here as it was a middle point between some of the places I’ve already been. They are one of 4 in Toronto that carry Watters Bridal. and they really push you to try them on. It’s different than some of the ones I’ve tried before. A lot of them are made of silk/​taffeta with some detailing that makes it really different. I would say it’s a perfect place to find the destination or outdoor ceremony with that whimsical romantic feel. But I’m not sure that’s what I was looking for.
When I made the appointment, I spoke to Daniel and he gave me some really good advice about picking my dress. He also asked me which dress I’ve liked to far, so I thought they were going to be prepared when I got there.
After checking in, they had asked me, no rather, tried to confirm with me that this was the first time I was trying on dresses. I told Daniel that no, this was my 5^th place and I know what I am looking for. My consultant was there, and clearly wasn’t paying attention as she asked me again (count: 3) in a really condescending tone where my friend basically had to shoot answers back at her.
The questionnaire also asks me what I am looking for but obviously no one read it.
Not that any of this information helped her. They had asked me to pull 5 dresses and she’d pull the rest. She only pulled a few, and nothing what I was looking for. The most helpful was Daniel, I believe the manager of the store. He was helping another woman, but seeing as my consultant would disappear and leave me half dressed, he came to help, and pulled one or two himself. When his client came out, she would immediately rush to her (which is the right thing to do).
We noticed that everything he pulled for her was exactly what she had said she wanted or didn’t want. Unlike mine, which I said I like A-​Line, Trumpet and she gives me Ball Gown.
Unfortunately Daniel wasn’t my consultant, I think he would have gotten to know me better.
When we were picking the dresses, we were also frustrated. They said, just choose five. So we picked and pulled them out flat, but then someone put them back in straight. They need to have coloured clips or something.
I did like the different style of dresses I haven’t seen before at Beckers, White and Jealous. They have a lot of belts and boleros as well.
I was disappointed that this experience wasn’t positive, but it could have been.

This store carries a lot of really nice lines of dreses including Watters which had a lot of different styles I liked.
The people working in the store were very helpful and gave a lot of good suggestions.
I found the change rooms a bit small (I couldn’t close the door with more than 1 dress in there) and there’s not a lot of space for guests to sit
Luckily i was the only person in there when I was trying on dresses so I didn’t have to share the mirror.
I didn’t find my dress here but I think it’s a good store to check out b/​c they have a lot of well-​priced dresses and the staff is very helpful.

I happened to stumble upon this boutique shop and absolutely loved it from the moment I walked in.
You’re not bombarded with rows and rows of wedding gowns all hidden behind plastic bags. There are a good selection of gowns in a very open, well lit space. The quality of the samples are impeccable.
The owners are very kind and helpful, too.
I tried on a few dresses, leaving to check out another place and I ended up getting my dress here, off the rack :) Saved myself some money and got the dress that I truly love!
NB: I loved their «please take off your shoes and put on these slippers» policy.

I went here as my last stop (of 3) for my first day of wedding dress shopping. I purposely saved it as my last stop because I was really excited about their Trunk Show pieces and other dresses I saw on their website. But to my dismay, I had a terrible experience. I felt like leaving within 5 minutes of being there. As soon as we arrived, there was no greeting of «Hello», just «Take off your shoes». It’s not like it’s a large store, no one else was in there shopping, so why no politeness? Even as I was browsing, the man «helping» was very aggressive, suggesting HIS favorite dresses — never asked me what I liked or what my preferences were. Even after my Maid of Honor told him that we had a good idea of what I liked after trying on many dresses, he rejected the comment asking if we really tried on «many» dresses, that we hadn’t tried them all. I did try on a dress or two (of his choices), but left immediately afterward. Maybe he was just having a bad day? But even the other associate present, a woman, didn’t approach me to offer her help. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I went here on a Sunday (made the appointment the same day!) and found it to be a great experience. I wasn’t ready to buy my dress but did try quite a few. I visited the store because they carry Modern Trousseau. They had the samples of the dresses I was interested in and the service was fantastic!
