I know there’s a thousand computer stores out there, but if you need to get your computer fixed, Gerald is your man. This guy knows his stuff and is super helpful. I’m sort of a computer geek and I rarely bring my computer in to anyone, but I was having an issue that I couldn’t resolve and after talking with him for barely a minute he knew what it was, and had it fixed.
The only reason I can’t give the store a better rating is because he doesn’t actually sell a ton of stuff, and the stuff he does sell isn’t much cheaper than anywhere else. I think he’s got some pretty cheap desktop computers for sale, but basically he’s just really good at fixing computers.
He did get me an awesome deal on my computer though. It was apparently a show model at HP headquarters and ended up costing me way less then the full price (I do think that was legit by the way, and it didn’t «fall off the back» of any truck).
So if you’re having a problem with your computer, before taking it to Future Shop, give Fastrac a try.
