Established in 1998.

Fandango Recording Toronto opened its doors back in 1998, at a time when music business model was changing at a fast pace. Fandango Recording Toronto caters mostly to the independent and unsigned musicians, indie acts, bands and songwriters. These artists do not have the big budgets of the major label acts; however, they are the major force behind music creation, as they have freedom of expression, and do not shy away from being themselves musically speaking.

Fandango Recording strives to provide them with recording, mixing, mastering and music production services of the highest quality, while maintaining affordable rates.

Business Owner

Florin has been playing music for over 40 years; the passion for music comes from the family — the parents guided him to learn music since early childhood. No different than other musicians, Flo had his share of playing live starting with classical guitar, and then with a band called Labyrinth, promoting progressive rock, with classical and jazz influences. During the seven years of existence, the band toured, recorded for radio, TV and an LP. It was those recording sessions that got Flo interested in music production, in recording, mixing and mastering. After the band dismantled, Flo was lucky enough to be taught by great professionals in the art of recording at Elektrecord and TVT.

Moving to Canada over 20 years ago, Flo continued its musical activity and, in 1998 opened Fandango Recording. The main objective from day one was to establish a studio that stimulates creativity and performance and offer the highest quality musical products that the artists are looking for.
