Fading Fast Laser Tattoo Removal

I did my research before deciding to go with shane and I definitely feel like I did the right thing. It has only been 4 or 5 sessions but I can see a big difference already.

I’ve gone to Shane for about 8 sessions now and I’m incredibly happy with the results/​experience. Here are the main points of why I’m happy:
1. Bedside manner– I recognize that Shane isn’t a doctor, but this is an ongoing treatment and it’s important (at least to me) that I’m comfortable with the person conducting it. Shane is professional and friendly… believe me, when you’re getting ‘treated’, you want someone to distract you with conversation!
2. Knowledgable– He was a tattoo artist and has previously undergone the procedure himself. Tying this back to my first point, I don’t feel comfortable having something so important done by the girl that’s going to do a facial in 10 minutes. I also looked into medispa’s and found that a lot of them are being sued for malpractice for burning people. I read the stories of the ‘victims’ and it’s evident that the people conducting the procedure had never undergone training. I can’t fathom spending time and money going though this process only to be left burnt/​scarred and looking worse than before.
3. General business practices– he’s always on time, he sends reminders leading up to the appointments and he tries to work around my schedule as best as he can.
I’m seeing great progress with the removal and absolutely recommend him to anyone looking!

I went through two «doctors» and laser clinics before I found Shane and Fading Fast, and after talking to him about my tattoos and treatments I was furious at how I had been deceived by other professionals, and how deception seems to be the standard in the removal industry. Shane is the most knowledgable person I have ever spoken with on the subject and he takes a great deal of pride in his business and in quality.
Shane is a really cool guy that makes you feel comfortable throughout your treatment session. When I am in for an appointment, he shoots the shit the way a tattoo artist would when you’re in for a full day of tattooing (maybe because he used to be one?). I love that! He is also totally honest and does not make promises about every colour under the moon coming out in six sessions or fewer. If anyone tells you that, it’s complete BS– run!
Since starting with Shane my tattoos have faded dramatically and I feel confident I will not have scarring afterwards. Many places give you pain pills or numbing cream, but be wary of this. The pain is tolerable and if it isn’t, they are probably doing damage to your skin. Plus he uses the cooling machine, which is really all you need to help with pain and healing!
Last, his prices are great. I was paying more money at other clinics while getting subpar quality and seeing virtually no results.
I have since moved from Toronto to NYC and I will not go anywhere else for my tattoo removal. I will make a point to see Shane every time I am home for a visit rather than starting new with some plastic surgeon’s assistant looking to make a quick buck. I don’t even care if that means my overall treatment will take a bit longer– that’s how much I believe in Shane’s service!
