History

Established in 2014.

As an award-​winning mid-​career artist, the owner and Instructor of Easy Camera Art started this business to share her creative and technical knowledge. She realized that there are many people who work 9 – 5 jobs who don’t get enough opportunity to explore their creativity, and that most photography workshops don’t offer enough insight into the creative processes. In addition to her creative approach to photography, her teaching style involves a clear logical flow with a warm and patient demeanor — never leaving any student behind.

Teresa A.

Business Owner

Teresa Ascencao has been teaching photography for over a decade. Her award-​winning photo-​based and multimedia works have been exhibited widely in Canada and internationally. Teresa graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto’s Honours Fine Art Studio program and completed her MFA at OCADU. She teaches photography and design courses at OCAD University.
