Jan is cultivating a culture here. Every vape shop has a tasting counter, but they are all about processing customers — try, buy, next. Jan’s definitely selling mods, coils, and juice, but EBV has perfected the chill lounge model. It’s like Cheers for Vapers, building a community of practice and appreciation for tobacco counterculture to such an extent that the ‘store’ concept feels decidedly anticapitalist.
Which is why, perhaps, the Eastern Bloc brand is so apt. At EBV you’re not working with a disillusioned teenaged vaper getting paid minimum wage — you’re working with a guru. A vapor sommelier. Somebody who is genuinely invested in your interest in vaping. If you are looking for mod build tips, ideas, an incredible tasting bar with some of the best juices on the market (not just proprietary homebrew BS), or, most importantly, a place to just hang and vape with some great company you’ve never met before, Eastern Bloc is a must. Go now. Sit, vape, and be merry.

I’ve been to pretty much every single vape store in Toronto and the GTA and this is by far the store you want to go to!

Really great vape shop. We were visiting from Washington DC and I realized I had left all of my juice at home! We found Eastern Bloc on Unilocal and were not disappointed. Cool, safe, laid back atmosphere. This place is way better than any of the vape shops in the metropolitan DC area. Jan knows his stuff and is really friendly. Great selection of top-​end juices from across Canada and the States. I tried at least a dozen flavors while I sipped a beer. I ended up with a few various flavors from Moshi. Also, free WiFi! If I lived in Toronto I would be here every day.

Don’t be fooled by the location, this is one of the nicest vape shops I’ve been to and I’ve been to almost all of the ones downtown. Really digging the black/​red theme of the place. You won’t be be disappointed.
Yon, I believe that’s how you spell his name, is a welcoming and knowledgeable owner. I hung out there for 30 minutes and tried a bunch of flavours and ended up picking up the Sucker Punch by Suicide Bunny and Bangerang Tootles.
Definitely coming back when he gets some Mother’s Milk in stock.

Love this store I went there today looking for coils for my delta 2 fell in love with the store .it’s leather chairs and fire place makes u feel at home the owner was very knowledgeable and has grate selection of premium juices at a grate price this is my new store sorry ez vape I found a real winner … littel hard to find but we’ll worth the visit
