The type of garbage bar you would expect to find in the burbs with Rob Ford hanging off the bar. Walking in you first notice the terrible décor and lighting. It’s very bright. It’s bright like a high school cafeteria. The bathroom(single poorly kept bathroom for both male/female) has better lighting than the actual bar. It’s terrible and makes you feel you should leave. That was my first mistake — I didn’t leave. I ordered chicken wings that were over cooked with hot sauce poured over top almost by accident. And why is there a piece of ice in the blue cheese dip? How did hot sauce get on my carrots and celery? As I eat I stare at tables to my left that seem like they haven’t been sat in ever I’m reminded what a great place this would be to film the Walking Dead. The absolute worst thing about this place is the blubbering idiot they have running the bar. She has taken upon herself to subject everyone in the bar to her favorite teenage top 40 radio station. That would be bad enough, but the clown doesn’t seem to mind that the station is barely audible because the signal is so weak. So as you are trying to enjoy your wings and beer you have non stop static in your ear with Taylor Swift songs way in the distance. The clown in question doesn’t seem to mind though as she subjects the bar to her off tune singalongs to pop and static. I ordered my last beer 10 minutes to closing but just as the clock struck the clown in question decides to motion to the door and say«you go!». «Excuse me? You just sold me this?» I replied. Before she could muster enough intellect to come up with some sort of response, some trashy urine smelling slag(seen earlier in the night banging on the lone bathroom door yelling at the person inside to get out because she«runs the place«) who seems to be a fixture at the bar yells«get the fuck out buddy and fuck off» The poor sap who seems to be her significant other gives me an appologetic wave and mouths«I’m sorry» as I leave. Not as sorry as I am pal. I wouldn’t let my dog drink at this place.

Awesome spot close to work. Great daily specials for food a beer. We stopped by for lunch Friday. $ 3.99 for any bottle of beer. We had perogies done nicely with a little crisp from the frying pan served with bacon and onions. Outdoor patio tables a little wobbly on old stones. Thursday is a curry special for $ 7.99 It was chunks of beef in a nice sauce but could have used some potato or veg in it. Nice side of basmati rice. If you work or live in the area they have a 25% discount card for you.
