I LOVE this place! I’ve been meaning to go here for a while and finally got a chance and eek! The lady who owns the place is really nice. She served me and chatted as I was getting my sweets. I tried cupcakes, cookies, rum cake, and salted caramels. All sooooooo good. The cupcakes were delicious and soft, they had great texture and icing to cake ratio. The cookies were soft and large and reminded me of the ones I would get at the fallen Moo Milk Bar(RIP). They have a toffee cookie that I literally devoured, SOGOOD. The infamous rum cake was really yummy, you can definitely taste the rum. Also the salted caramels that I spotted at the last minute. They literally melt in your mouth. This spot is located in Kensington so you can pop in, get a treat, and keep on shopping. I will be back here for sure!

Among the best cupcakes in the city, the vanilla and coconut ones are my personal favs. The texture of the frosting and cake are perfect and the flavor amazing. The rum cake is good but a touch sweeter than I like and the red velvet are a dyed a little too red, but that is my personal preference. I love that they have mini cupcakes, though wish they had more available at the counter(Sometimes there’s not enough, if they had more I’d buy a few to take with me and share with friends) However the good thing about the small batches is that they are always very fresh and moist. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday’s which is a bummer but I’m thrilled that they are open on Sunday’s which is my fav day to go to Kensington.

Had the rum cake cupcakes which were amazing. I am only taking away a star for one reason and it hurts to say this. I am not sure what warrants closing on a Monday and Tuesday but maybe they are slow days? also I was about to walk in on a day that they were open and their closed sign was still up, yet the door was open. When I had walked in not a single pastry item was ready, shouldn’t this be ready before the doors are open? also the Rum cupcakes are only made on the weekends? unless I special order it I can have em during the week. Like I said when I was actually able to get items from them it was great, there’s no need to have these roadblocks in your business to a customer. Hopefully that gets sorted soon at some point.

Some of the best cupcakes in the city. Their fleur de sel caramels are also pretty stellar. Worth a visit for the smell of the shop alone.

Don’t call me cupcake is a small cupcake shop. They have small bite size cupcakes and I like it. Their tastes are above average. There is no place to eat inside the shop.

Such a special little bakery! And the owner is such a sweetheart. Love this place, everything I’ve had there has been absolutely delicious — cupcakes, lemon coconut squares, brownies… MMMMM. But really and truly, the star of the show here is the rum cake, by the slice. The rum cake is something very, very special, that i truly haven’t had anywhere else. Please go and get yourself a slice now — It’s amazing.

Stopped while roaming Kensington Market based on what I’d seen on Unilocal.Definitely lives up to the hype. Good prices, friendly service and delicious cupcakes! Will definitely go back the next time I visit Toronto.

Delicious little bakery in Kensington market. Our server was awesome. My girlfriend wanted to try a flavor which was unavailable, so the server offered to make it right there on the spot! We tried three different mini cupcakes: chocolate with salted caramel, red velvet, and vanilla with raspberry whipped cream. I liked all of them though my favorite was the red velvet one. All of the desserts in the display looked delicious — especially the rum cake and the brownies.

When I walked in there were very few cupcakes left. I was a bit unsure of a place that had so few options. To be polite, I picked a chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting and toffee bits. The sweet lady behind the counter mentioned that someone had come and taken almost all of the cupcakes and now I see why. It was delicious! Real chocolate flavour in the cake and the icing was perfectly sweet. Don’t be fooled by the tiny location, the cupcakes are worth it.

I love, love, love this place! By FAR the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. Not just the amazing frosting but the cake is SOOO good too, where a lot of cupcake places fall short I find. I ordered these cupcakes for a staff party and they were devoured! Love the flavors and found out that they actually use fresh ingredients. SOOO good! Now they started making full cakes and tarts I know where I will be getting my treats this holiday season! Simple place nice people — but the magic is in the yummy treats! Ok I’m gushing. I have a new favorite stop! Whoa!

This is a cute little place in Kensington Market with a sharp, minimalist décor. The staff were very friendly. The cupcakes were tasty but didn’t blow me away: I got the vanilla salted caramel and cookies and cream varieties.
