While on a break from work, I was pulled into this place by a promoter. He gave me a sample of a facial cream and dragged me inside the building and started dabbing stuff on my wrist. He then proceeded to ask me what products I used on my face, whether I exfoliated, etc. and when I told him I didn’t, he made some very condescending remarks about it. He then asked me what facial products I used and what brand they were. After that, this other woman called Nina came along and started throwing all these marketing pitches at me about how this product cost only $ 149. It was truly impossible to interrupt them because between the two of them, they wouldn’t even let me get a word in edgewise. Finally, I told them I was poor and couldn’t afford it and had to leave for work because my break was up. The woman then gave me her card and told me that«Only for you, even though I’m not supposed to do it, I’ll give you a special deal, blah blah.» I told her I couldn’t afford it and that I had to leave and she looked at me incredulously and said, «Even 60 dollars is too much for you?» Firstly, I was dragged into this store and missed a good chunk of my break because I truly didn’t realize(until it was too late) that desperate people like these exist, taking advantage of unassuming people for whom time is a scarcity. Secondly, if you have to market your product in such a distasteful manner(including asking me what other brands I use), it speaks volumes about the product you’re selling. Why not let your product speak for itself so you can take a breath between all those propaganda techniques? And having a man sensually touch my arm while dabbing samples on it is not going to make me like your product more. Seriously, a complete waste of time and such annoying and frustrating people! All around me, other people were doing the same to other people on the street.

This is a pathetic excuse of a business. Do not ever buy anything from here ever. I literally just made a Unilocal account because my experience at Divine Beauty Boutique was so horrendous. First of all, the employees there practically handcuff you to a chair until you buy something. But the worst part is that the product you inedibly end up buying ends up being a COMPLETE waste of money, and you discover that you were just part of one big scam. I was coaxed into their store and given a sample of a product that actually seemed great at the time. They used some great selling techniques(«It’s $ 140 but I’ll give you one out of the packaging for $ 60») and unfortunately I fell for it. I ended up getting this miracle«facial in a jar» product and as soon as I got home and tried it I honestly wanted to go back there and just slap everyone in their across the face. The product was absolutely AWFUL when applied to my face(how convenient that they tested it on my wrist). It gave me an incredibly painful rash that wouldn’t go away and I genuinely thought I was going to have to go to a walk-in clinic because the reaction was so awful. With one Google search, I discovered that the product that they were selling was part of a huge scam. I am actually disgusted that there are people in this world that feel okay selling such awful, cheaply-made products at such extravagant prices to innocent people. I feel especially horrible for people who have actual skin conditions(i.e. acne, rosacea) and trust these people to find a cure for it only to discover that it has completely exacerbated the issue. I would encourage anyone who reads this to spread the word because it is an absolutely awful place.

1 star is too much. This place is an extreme RIP. Customer service and knowledgeable staff is non-existent here, I actually felt like a burden being there. They have no time management; I was finally let in an hour after my appointment time. What should’ve taken a half hour in the room turned into 45 minutes because they set my personal file down somewhere and couldn’t find it, they fiddled with a fan for a bit because their«central air» wasn’t working(but there was an old AC sticking in the window?!). I could go on. I asked for my money back, my time and sanity is worth more than a «deal» in this shady ghetto(I am talking, seriously now, an old leopard sheet pinned over a window in the sauna room) spa(?) slash hole in the wall! The manager told me over phone that the refund couldn’t be done right away, and I’d have to wait for her to come in and look at my file the NEXT day to see what was owed to me. It’s been four days and I have yet to hear from her. I should’ve just eaten the 2 bills I spent. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get my money back? I can’t stand the thought of those knobs getting my money. I emailed Living Social two days ago but they haven’t gotten back to me yet…

Nobody likes to feel cheated but the business model here seems to be based on robbing customers. I’m sure there are many people who are equally dissatisfied with the results they had here but they are made to feel as though they are an exception, which is NOT the case. I’ve spoken with several other clients and they all complained of very little or no results. What makes it worse is that the owner tries to make people feel lucky to have any results, yet she promotes the laser hair removal service as being very effective to the majority of clients. I have yet to meet one client from this place that had results that they were happy with. Don’t make the same mistake I did! I was trusting enough to pay the upgrade price of an extra $ 200 and this made absolutely no difference. So all in all I’ve spent well over $ 300 including the original voucher price. I regret buying this voucher and going here to begin with. I nearly bought another package of sessions but I’m glad I didn’t. I went to all of my appointments as specified and followed all the instructions. Total waste of time and money!
