Best eyelash extension experience I have ever had:).
These people really know what they are doing. I have been to a couple other salons before but they all caused irritation on my eye. Divine is different– they provide a cleansing kit for your lashes and a detail tutorial video to teach you how to clean and maintain the lashes.
I went in for the first time as a new client ($ 80 package). The whole process took 2 hours and my technician really takes the time to understand what I need and what suits me. I will definitely come back again. They also have a great referral program! Make use of it ;)

AMAZING! first time getting lash extensions… and Mami was awesome. She put me at ease and showed me how to care for the lashes. The extentions went on with a light touch… I could barely feel it, and these look beautiful… I can’t stop marveling at them! Thanks Mami… I’ll be back!

I recently decided to try a new place to get my eyelashes done, prior to this I’ve been to Keiko’s on Dundas and another private/​home eyelash stylist. The original reason for leaving Keiko was because she was getting more busy and the job got a tad sloppier, although for the price she was definitely more affordable.
I tried the 3D volume lashes here at Divine lashes and had them for 3 weeks before I had a refill. They stayed on great and lash separation was amazing, (sometimes stylists clump two lashes together). If you take care of them properly (wash them, comb, blow dry cool) they’ll last you a lot longer. I opt to go for the natural flair with C curl. My stylist was great, we have a consultation first and she explained to me my maximum length (30% more than my original lashes) would provide me with the longest wear. She was very carefully in understand what look I wanted and told me we could keep changing it as we go on, which I did upon my refill. I decided to try the D curl this time, which was more curly and made my eyes pop more.
The facility is small, but clean, and professional. The little things I notice them do that drives them over the top for me is that they carefully clean your lashes before application, provide you with eyelash soap, and keep track of your eyelash status. I typically have more lashes on my right eye and she would try to match it up with my left so that both sides looked even. I highly recommend coming here if your budget allows for it.

I needed eyelash extensions for my wedding and vacation.
The first appointment was fantastic. My technician was great and very friendly.
The eyelashes are still on me and look fantastic even though 2 weeks with constant swimming and sun tanning. They give you cleaning tips and a solution to use. I was using it regularly till I left for my vacation and to be honest I didn’t clean them at all but they still lasted!

I went in for my first ever lash appointment on August 1^st (as I was going on vacation and didn’t want to deal with mascara) and tried out their first time client promotion for $ 80. It was amazing ! They applied about 80 lashes per eye and gave me options as to how I wanted the lash style. The technician Mami was kind and very accommodating offering coffee and water as soon as I got in. I went in for my second appointment today for a classic refill and they look just as good as the first time. Mami has the touch of a feather and you can basically fall asleep while she works on your lashes. I have yet to be worked on by the other tech but I’m sure she would be just as good ! They also provide a video for how to care for your lashes as well as a care package which includes lash shampoo and a lash comb (clean mascara wand)
Overall, this place is top notch. Pricing is comparable to other studios but they do have first time client promos as well as friend referral promotions. DEFINITELY try this place out!

I have been getting my lashes done for 5 years at various establishments but this is by far the best job! I will look no further!
Also, the education add on is amazing. Especially for first timers! They will email you a video to watchand they provide a care package! No other place I have been to does that!
Price — wise– they are on par with most top end places. With lashes– you get what you pay for ladies! !

I’ve been going to Divine Lashes– Naoko since she was at her old location and she is by far the most educated and experience eyelash technician I’ve ever been to. The environment is extremely clean, inviting, bright and relaxing.
At DL they educate their customers on the process before actually proceeding to do it. They even take into account your everyday facial/​makeup routine so ensure that your lashes will fit into your personal lifestyle. They also have an amazing eyelash video that explains what they do and how they do it. At the end of the visit, they gave me an eyelash shampoo to help clean and maintain my lashes. Such care and thought!
EYELASH EXTENSIONS: (main reason why I return)
Very clean– all the technicians clean their hands prior to starting to process, they place this pad over your forehead so their hands are not resting directly on your skin.
The process itself is very tedious, they all wear magnifying goggles to ensure that they are placing each extension onto your natural eyelash. And after the process you can visibly see that each eyelash was carefully placed onto each individual lash. They don’t use any harsh glues/​chemicals that sting or irritate your eyes in the shower. The result is a beautiful enhanced natural eyelash look that doesn’t look fake or too over the top.
Cons:
The only thing I would mention is that their prices are quite steep! I definitely prefer a fuller lash look, so I go about every 2 – 3 weeks to maintain and upkeep the look, however it’s about $ 120/​visit! While comparing to other eyelash boutiques (although not as good), DL is extremely expensive.
I would also offer that her fellow associates are not as skilled/​experienced as she is, however at DL they charge the same price whether it is Naoko, Mami, or Kaoru providing the service for you…
Naoko is definitely by far the most experienced (DL is her company), and she is the only one certified at DL for the Russian volume technique– I just don’t find it fair to be charging the clients the same price for their associates work, who obviously don’t do as good of a job.
BOTTOM LINE: I will be retuning to Divine Lashes

This was my first eyelash extension experience; some friends told me that if I were to cry at my wedding, than this is better to have over the glued strip lashes and lots of mascara. I was also initially afraid to get these done because I’ve heard some horror stories from friends who said all their real lashes were gone after the extensions came off!
After watching the Divine Lashes video and hearing positive testimonials about Divine — I decided to give it a shot. It seemed like they had a better technique on how they’re glued and better quality extensions. Most importantly, it seemed like they really do care about their clients.
So I had the «natural» set done on Sept 20, 2014 — the girls at Divine wanted to ensure I didn’t have any allergic reactions before the wedding (which was Oct 5) so this was like a trail set before they added the volume/​drama set put on the day before the wedding.
I LOVE them! Such a huge difference in photos and they look so natural! Best of all, I can see my real lashes are still there, growing between the fake ones.
Attached is a photo taken yesterday before bed — I took good care of them (as instructed on the video), except the fact that I sleep on the sides of my face sometimes which probably rubs them more than a regular back-​sleeper. There are some gaps, but it can be brushed out to look full again. Considering I got the first set done over a month ago, this is not bad!
Something to note also: before they added the drama set, they warned me that if I noticed lashes coming off more than 5 pieces/​day, to come back and get them removed because some people’s lashes can’t handle the weight of the fake lashes (I think it was a 6:1 ratio between fake and real lashes). Obviously, I took the risk because I only get married once, but I appreciate the fact that they warned me and had my best interests at heart since I could’ve just taken my business elsewhere so someone who makes false «guarantees.»
Needless to say, I will go to them again if I want to get them done again and I have referred many friends to Divine. These girls wouldn’t put a crazy number of extensions on you if your real lashes aren’t healthy enough/can’t handle it — I think this is great company moral because this is better for the clients’ lashes long-​term.

I’ve been to several lash places… Richmond Beauty Bar, Be Fabulous Spa, La Belle Femme… and this is hands down the BEST lash service I’ve ever received!
There are several reasons why I would give this place 5 stars (or more if I could). Let me this them below:
1) Cleanliness: The space was clean and bright! You’re asked to take off your shoes when you enter, and they provide you with slippers and offer you a drink if needed. The ladies were masks and have good hygienic practices.
2) Thoroughness: This is the first (and only) lash place that asked me about my skin care routine and my makeup routine. This helps them provide you with recommendations to make your lashes last as long as possible. For example, using an oil free cleanser, and a lash shampoo (that they provide free of charge), extends the life of your lashes.
3) Instructional video: I’ve never been to a place where they have an instructional video on lash extensions! They provided examples of some work they did to save lashes (like mine!) and how to clean your lashes.
4) You get exactly what you want: Mami (who did a fabulous job BTW), had a binder with several ‘looks’ that you could go for. eg (. — ’ — ,) depicting the different length of lashes (eg. 6 mm, 7 mm, 10mm). I went with the natural flare. Most other places just ask you what you want, but doesn’t delve specifically into what they’ll do in terms of length, and what it’ll do to your eyes.
5) Precision: 1 lash to 1 lash. They wore magnifying glasses so they can do this! They take their time to make sure this is done correctly so you don’t damage your lashes.
Out of all the places I’ve been to, my husband says this looks the best on me (he likes it natural). They feel great, just like my natural lashes. Although I wanted to find a cheap lash place, I realize that sometimes you get what you pay for. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s a worthy investment for fantastic looking lashes.

I recently moved to Atlanta and make monthly trips home to Toronto to see Naoko… she is amazing and always does a fantastic job on my lashes …
I have been going to her for about 2 or 3 years now and have never ever been disappointed!

My favourite lash place! Not that I’ve tried many but I know what I want and when I find it I’m a happy camper :)
So my biggest reservation prior to visiting was the location. living downtown I have the downtown syndrome of not wanting to leave lol. I got past that because of their very professional video and awesome pictures on their website and decided to try it out. I’ve been twice now. If you are looking for a professional place that treats you really well with impeccable results, look no further!
From the initial discounted visit with a full consult (they have a form u fill out to pinpoint the exact look you want), evaluation of your lashes and explanation of thicknesses, shapes, post care and expectations, I went into a separate room. the bed is super comfy and the blanket is a nice touch! What impressed me was her meticulous hygiene throughout the procedure.
The result — nothing but fabulous. It’s so hard to find a place that does natural lashes so well — I’ve seen so many bad jobs on my friends. The lashes are so flexible and soft and long lasting. 1 month until I went back for another set! These ladies are all professionally trained and experienced — the tech I had was trained in Japan. They book up fast. you really have to book in advance of 1−2weeks. waayy worth it. Please note they take their time. expect to be 2.5hrs for a natural full set! (The first time I wasn’t prepared for that so I got mighty hungry).
