I can’t help but love DavidsTea. The variety is amazing, the staff are delightful and the fact that I can try the teas before I buy them just makes me love this place even more. I also really like the selection of decaf tea aswell. They cater to all.

One of my favorite tea stores! Have been coming here for couple of years, and their teas are amazing! Their location moved few buildings further, but still the same area. I love that David’s Tea has so many teas, and each one is so unique. I also love the fact that I can buy any amount of the tea(unlike Teavana where I have to buy at least 50g) — I can just buy about 20g to try at home, and then come back for more! My favorite teas have been Citron Oolong, Dolce & Banana, Lime Gelato, Movie Night(tea with nuts and real popcorn in it!) and Jessie’s Tea(Rooibos). Now, with the holiday season here, I am more oriented towards trying something with chocolate and peppermint flavor. And those holiday teas look amazing. My favorite tea so far is Santa’s Secret and Gingerbread Cookie. Must try. The best part — you can buy any amount of tea!(unlike Teavana where the minimum weight should be 50g.) Yohoooo, the best!

What a great place to get tea! The staff are very informative and nice! I asked for an almond roobios and they introduced me to alpine punch! It’s definitely pricier then getting tea anywhere else but the choices are endless! I think the service is definitely worth the price! This beats Starbucks any day!

I was stared down here by the staff as if I committed a crime because I decided to use the washroom first before buying a drink. Tea was good but service was unfriendly and cold. Not the David’s tea experience that I have in other stores. Disappointing.

The staff here was really friendly and entertained my endless list of questions and requests. The store itself isn’t much different from the David’s norm — clean and organized!

My friend and I have an affinity for fine teas. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful prices and the huge selection. And I can’t forget to say how wonderful the staff was! They had us sign up for their loyalty card which offers an avid tea drinker like myself the opportunity to earn points for drinking tea! I was hesitant to sign up only because my friends and I were visiting from the states. The lady we were taking to said that the company has expanded to the U.S. So we could order tea and have it shipped for free with a minimum order of $ 50. This visit I bought their Mighty Aphrodite, Main Squeeze, and Chai Guarana. I saw that they make iced/hot teas in store for takeaway. Of course I could not resist trying an iced matcha tea soy latte. It was quite satisfying. :)

David’s Tea has to be one of my favourite stores. At every location I’ve been to, the staff have always been very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the tea pop, it’s a great treat for summer! My tea collection at home is mostly David’s Tea blends, what can I say, I’m hooked.

I’ve have varied experiences at other David’s tea location but the staff at this place rock. I used to work nearby so I’d be in here all the time to get cups of tea and loose leaf. The staff are very friendly and I’ve never been disappointed in a tea they’ve recommended to me. I have to knock off a star because a lot of their teas have artificial flavoring. Make sure to check the ingredients.

I love David’s tea. The staff is super friendly & knowledgeable behind their teas, the location is great, the wait time to get tea is super short because the staff are very efficient, the atmosphere is very relaxing and you can chose to sit there and drink it or continue with your day :). Nothing but praise for that place.

I will never understand the hype around David’s Tea. It’s yet another(though better executed) brand of «tea» for the masses– AKA, a jumble of artificial flavours. But it «tastes so good for tea!» making it sell very well. The staff at several locations I’ve visited with my friend who’s obsessed with the place didn’t even seem to be educated on what they were selling. To me, it’s overpriced Crystal Light sold in a tea bag.

This David’s Tea location is really great! I came here with a friend for a nice hot tea late at night and we had a really good time. This location is nice because they have two tables in the front that don’t feel crammed into the location. Some locations have tables but the store is so small that you don’t really feel comfortable sitting in-store for a drink. This location is much better and the tables are at the front so you don’t feel weird enjoying a tea in-store. The employees at this location were also very knowledgeable and friendly like I would expect at most David Tea locations.

If I had to choose between coffee and tea I’d choose tea because there’s just more possibilities with it. I mean you can have flavors that range the colors of them just like the rainbow. There’s no tax on loose tea. That’s another cool thing is it not? One thing I like about David’s versus say Teavana is that you can order a tea and walk out with it since it’s not just for take home. I particularly enjoy anything made into cold tea green, black, fruity whatever it doesn’t matter as long as it’s cold. Cold takes a little more time because you have to make it hot first and then cool it off and chill it down but it’s what I like. A little agave goes a long way too. I don’t like too much sweet if any at all, I’d prefer to have this natural drink since i find it so relaxing. This particular David’s is the original one. I had to learn that when I was visiting the one in Boston where they told me the original is in my very own home town. How awesome is that? Now we have so much variety of tea at home even though it’s my wife that buys it I enjoy it, all of them. There is nothing I’ve tried that isn’t good. I don’t have a favorite but hers in milk oolong.

I hate tea. I’m a hardcore black Americano drinker who thinks that teas(especially these frou-frou teas made from loose leafs and containing no caffeine) are silly and pointless. I had a cold and tried their Cold 911. I was amazed at the simultaneous warming/cooling sensation that enveloped my chest. It was like being wrapped in a hot steamy towel, scrubbed clean and covered in a soft blanket. I will buy this tea again. Don’t tell anyone.

This is a review of the chain not this store I am sure the people and this locations is as good as anyother. Davids Tea has lost its way. I use to be a super fan of Davids tea. They keep pretending they care about their customers but they don’t. They always say there will be a loyitaity discount soon but they have been saying that for 2 years now, at least. They did have a promolast summer where if you bought a certian waterbottle you would get $ 1 icedteas all summer. when you get in to the store it turns out its $ 1 teas of the day which are nasty teas which are laced with sugars and flavorings. Finally the collection of real teas are diminishing so fast. There is no room on the tea wall for real tea, they keep retiring them to make way for more nasty sugar and flavoring laced tea. Sadly we in North America are in a place where we, once again cannot get a decent cup of tea.

David’s tea is nice place to grab a cup to go as they offer different varieties of tea from green, black, and herbal. Particularly notable is tea-man Steve, who was kind and learned in the ways of tea, and generally exuded an aura of calm that fit right into my preconceived notions of how a tea shop server might be. Also a great assortment of tea related accessories. And yes, their cupcakes are loaded with mounds of icinig if you’re into that.

I love tea. I’ve been drinking it since I was a little kid. You know that really golden and bitter tea that comes in a tiny a$$ cup at the end of a meal at a ChiuChaow Chinese restaurant? I drank all of the cups before the adults even realized they had been served. Be sure to pick out the right taste profile for yourself before you pick a specific flavour combination. It’s important because tea leaves are complex in taste. That’s why there’s so many of them on the wall. In the mood for jasmine? How about some oolong? Liptons? Get out.

I love David’s Tea, no matter what tea snobs tell me… I don’t care. Excellent service, ability to get WHATEVER amount you want, lots of fun flavors, and I always walk out happy. 1) Excellent Service Right when you walk in here, we were treated with smiles and a mini glass of their Tea of the Day. There were lots of friendly staff available to introduce us to new teas. My friend and I smelled A LOT of teas, he just kept coming with suggestions! The best and most important part is that… We felt ZERO obligation to buy anything. He was just a tea lover showing us some teas. 2) Ability to buy whatever amount Usually at any other tea shops, you’re obligated to buy 50g of tea leaves. That’s fine and dandy, average of $ 7(and could get up to $ 20 for the expensive white teas). Alright, but if you’re just trying a tea… even $ 7 isn’t really worth it right? At David’s Tea, you can buy ANY amount. 25g is probably what I recommend… so yes! You can get a bag for as low as $ 2! If you end up loving the tea, buy the 100g and you’ll get a nice tin for that. 3) Lots of fun flavors Pick your tea type: green, black, rooibos(caffeine-free), white, herbal, or flowering. Pick your flavor: fruity, sweet, soothing, pure, minty, chocolate,. whatever you like! So you only like regular teas with nothing fancy, they have it. You like rose pedals and sweet smelling teas, they have that. Jelly beans, popcorn, candy confetti, yup! I have liked almost every tea I’ve tried. They even have this tea called Oh Canada, with maple and maple-shaped candy confetti. It’s just fun here! There are also variety packs like the tea starter kit, the cold emergency kit, green tea sampler… 4) I always walk out happy I usually buy just 25g of each teas and I buy more than 5 different teas. My total is only just $ 30! You can also buy a tea to go. About $ 3 for a large cup. They’ll do iced tea as well with any of their teas, and they always ask if you’d like honey/agave with your tea. This particular location is great. Small, but all their teas are there. Very friendly and tea-loving staff, and a few chairs if you’d like to enjoy a tea.

This is hands down one of the better Davids Tea locations in the city. The servers here are very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I am usually very awkward when it comes to making small talk with people i don’t know but I am happy to do so here. The selection of teas is very comprehensive(as with other locations), and the servers are knowledgeable enough to hone in on new flavors that you might like based on your preferences. The layout and the color scheme is the same as any other DT, which makes it a nice peaceful place. The patio is very useful to just stretch out your legs and to people watch. The only reason I give DT a 4 is because the tea that I source from Tea Emporium is of a slightly better quality.

Oh mine! This David’s Tea location is the BEST I have been to! One would have argue. it is just another Franchise. selling similar products. tea just tea? David’s Tea is just another David’s Tea? No. not really! Patio. right on Queen Street West. great place to people watching and enjoying Toronto’s Summer! Free Wifi with electric plugs! My Unilocal«Blogger» Friend was so content while I was in my yoga class, she was still at the same bar stool exactly where I left her with my Ipod :) Amazing Staff! At least that friendly dude that served us! My friend just could not decide what tea to have. All she said I want a iced tea… And off he went and grabbed over 10 different tea leaves for her to smell… That’s what I call SERVICE! My Organic Throat Soother($ 2.50) was awesome! He put in just the right amount of honey to give my tea a hint of sweetness… perfect for my dried and itchy throat… Now I know where to hang out while I am in the area. or when I just OD on cafferine and just want to have some tea!
