Shana M.

Business Owner

COCONUDA is a family business, owned and operated by a mother-​son team. Shana who is a University of Guelph chemistry graduate is now fully immersed in the fashion industry. «In 1985, I flew to Verona on holidays and was invited to attend a fashion show. I had a change of heart about chemistry and jumped straight into the fashion world.» After that trip, there was no turning back.

With over 30 years of experience now, Shana has taken it upon herself to provide COCONUDA with quality garments designed and manufactured in Italy solely exclusive to her boutique across all of North America. The fashion world is always changing, and the mother-​and-​son duo travel to Italy several times a year to to buy the hottest items on the European runways.

For Shana, there’s one thing that keeps her going everyday and that’s the clientele. «The most satisfying feeling for me is seeing the smiles on my clients faces after being styled and the confidence they gain by wearing these beautiful garments.»
