Chasse Gardée

shoe-​gasm. this gem is another one of those stores that i come to when i am investing in quality pieces. this isn’t an h&m where you grab 15 items and proceed to check-​out without worrying TOO much about your dough vanishing. when my money vanishes here it’s for a good cause. it’s for an investment of a lifetime, for the perfect pair of shoes that is updated regularly. what i love is the ever-​changing roster of items that they carry. you can come one day to find a perfect arrangement of ominous black-​leather wedges to seeing neon-​colored patterned flats the following week. i love visiting stores that take me by surprise and where i can actually feel how fabulous everything is (i.e. not made out of plastic, rubber and school glue). did i mention they carry bags? while i stress that things may be somewhat pricey, they do have deals and lower price tags for those who enjoy saving as well. it’s worth checking out.
