Very over priced. BTW, I take great offence to the Greek remarks. They tried that line on me too. I happen to be Greek so I decided to engage them in a Greek conversation. They had no clue what I was saying and walked away. THESEGUYSAREABSOLUTELYNOTGREEK, THEYAREARABS. Many Arabs in this city, like at souvlaki joints say they are Greek, but aren’t. When confronted they say they claim to be Greek because it is more palatable to Canadians to be dealing with Europeans rather than Middle Easterners. In any case, these guys are not trustworthy and will overcharge if you are gullible. BEWARE.

Whoa is the state of surplus shopping on Yonge. There used to be three stores between Bloor and the Eaton Centre. Now we appear to be down to Central Surplus and even that appears to be moving in the near future. Surplus shopping is fun. No doubt about that. And you really wish jump suits came back in fashion. Ah, 1981. You were truly an era of comfort. The front half of the store is camping/out doors stuff. The back half is the military surplus stuff. There used to be a basement but that’s closed now. Lots of Russian and Eastern European stuff has replaced what used to be largely NATO European(e.g., German and Dutch) surplus. Not so fussy there. As other reviewers note, the service is friendly although somewhat boastful and of that«I’m Greek. Why are you not Greek? How sad your life must be not to be Greek» variety. Prices aren’t so impressive, however. Maybe it’s owing to them being the only shop on the street.
