When I think about the word «dog,» I always think about the inversion of that word: god. And the reason I do is because I love my dog so much that I am on the cusp of worship. And then I meet other dog parents and their expression of reverence for these funny little fur beasts makes me think that dogs just might be four-legged gods walking around in guise of cuddly love things. I mean, the exchange of love between them and us is pure, and simple. Scripture material, really.
Consequently, I think of a series of photographs as a way of collecting and creating our own modern day scroll. A way of transcribing the silly and joyful into print and being able to return to it and be reminded of the immeasurable love that exists between us and our fur babies.
