It was my first ever full eye examination but Dr. Brenda Li made it a very enjoyable and educational experience as she took the time to explain the purpose of the various tests. The clean and organized office was very welcoming, not to mention that it’s located in a great neighbourhood. Only negative was that we had to wait 30 minutes upon arriving, however that was due to a backlog caused by a late client earlier in the day.

We had a really great visit with Dr. Li. I had read in previous reviews she was great with children, and she really was. I felt she had a genuinely great way with my 2.5 year old. I was nervous about how my daughter would react to the visit and if it was going to be a negative experience, I’d have trouble with eye doctors with her for the rest of her life! But I’m happy to say it went so good, I think she will actually look forward to her visits! On top of Dr. Li’s friendly character, you could tell she knew her stuff too. She was very knowledgable and shared lots of that info with us as she went. This was much appreciated as well. The receptionist was also very pleasant and polite and greeted us with a great smile when we entered! In summary, I am thrilled I found this place. I am due for my own personal check up in September and I will be changing my own usual eye doc to Dr. Li!

Dr. Li was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Her practice is small, but clean, organized, and welcoming. I arrived 10 minutes early expecting to wait, but I was able to see her as soon as I completed my medical history. She was willing to answer any questions I had, and was not rushed. She informed me of all findings, and explained everything clearly. It’s hard to come by doctors like that!

Dr. Li is a fantastic optometrist and works with the utmost professionalism. I found Dr. Li because I used to live in the neighbourhood. Although I’ve since moved away, I still return to see Dr. Li. Why? Because there are no wait times, she is extremely thorough with her exam and everyone who you meet in the office will greet you with a smile.
I find I can always get an appointment within 3 — 5 days of my request and the available times are great (weekends and evenings). I appreciate that when the office calls to confirm my appointment, they remind me to bring sunglasses because of the eye drops. I would have forgot otherwise and it’s just a nice consideration.
I also had a great experience purchasing frames and lenses from this location — I got frames that actually fit my face shape and they’re lightweight and on trend.
You should definitely call Dr. Li — you won’t regret it.
