History

Established in 2003.

The co-​founders of the Breakthrough Center Florence MacGregor and Gui Mansilla met in March 2003 in San Miguel de Allende Mexico. As it turned out, it was love first sight. After only 3 days they knew that they were meant to be together. Five months later Florence and Gui would rearrange their entire life to spend 3 months in Buenos Aires figuring out how to go about living the dream of this powerful and profound love. From the beginning, this relationship was a team effort that brought their talents to the table to create a larger and greater unit. That time was the birth of their work together.

The first paid contract happened in the province of Cordoba, Argentina. Gui and Florence were hired to lead a Shakespeare workshop written and taught by Florence and translated by Gui. That workshop was the birth of their work in the world and the seed of The Breakthrough Center.
