Surgery was completed mid-December 2015. I didn’t spend much time with Dr. R. Stein but he was friendly, personable and proffessional. I was taken in on-time and staff on the surgery day were all friendly and organized. The evening following LASIK surgery I had almost 20⁄40 vision. The 24-hour follow-up re-check was completed by a different doctor on-time with only a couple minutes of wait. I had«flawless flaps» and essentially 20⁄20 vision next day. Three days later my vision was clear enough to update my drivers license. Dryness was a major issue for me — you may end up spending some serious coin on preservative-free eye drops — be warned! Be very careful about rubbing your eyes — I used the sun shades while sleeping and showering for two weeks to be safe(I am a stomach sleeper and used to have a habit of rubbing my eyes a lot in the shower). The One-week and one-month check-ups were completed by yet another doctor(they seem to have maybe 4+ opto/ophthalmologists on staff) again swiftly with only a couple minutes wait. Better than 20⁄20 vision in both eyes 6-weeks post-surgery. I have at least two more re-checks to complete at Bochner over the next year, but so far very pleased with my choice. Dry eye is still an issue but has improved significantly now 7-weeks post-surgery. I always had major halo/starbursts at night but they have improved almost back to my «normal». I am told recovery varies dramatically between patients so I just need to be patient with the dry eye. FYI: Bochner offers a VennGo discount. If you purchase a membership or have one already through work like I do, you get a $ 700 discount.

I’ve been coming to the Bochner for many years now, since I’ve been diagnosed with keratoconus. Dr. Stein has performed the CXL procedure on myself, and overall the entire experience has been excellent. Mr. Korosh RO has been my lens fitter, and always very patient and knowledgeable regarding fitment with KC patients.

I got my eyes done here 5 years ago. The best investment I made in my life. The entire experience was professional and pleasant. My procedure was 100% problem free, but just in case there is an issue, they provide lifetime guarantee. I have recommended Bochner to many of my friends.

Fantastic staff, they are all professional, courteous and attentive. They are all well trained and very hospitable. I had Dr. Stein perform my surgery. He is a great surgeon, patient, welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend Bochner for laser eye surgery

I was very fortunate to have my Lasik procedure done here last week — and yes I’m typing about a week later ;) My experience so far has been great, from the initial consulation, to aftercare…(I have a follow up appointment later this week. The staff are really great, attentive and professional, and do they a great job and making sure their clients/patients feel comfortable. They walked me through every step of the procedure and carefully explained everything that I would experience, and how to care for myself afterwards. I totally recommend them — I trusted them with my vision afterall. For those who wear contacts/glasses — it kind of feels like at the end of the day, I should take out my contacts… except I’m not wearing any. It’s great to wake up in the morning and be able to see clearly right away!
