Came here for a spray tan, something I do once a year for my ballroom dancing competitions. They do custom air brushing for $ 40 which is about the same, or less than than when I get this done at a booth.
The girl was really nice, and we discussed the colour I wanted. It’s nice to be able to customize the colour. I’ve had good results with a booth (Versa Spa) but always found that their darkest shade was not dark enough for me. I just needed to be a little bit darker, and found myself touching up the tan on the 2^nd day of competition.
Despite the awkwardness standing in front of a stranger for 15 mins less than clothed, it was quite nice, i takes longer than the booth, as she sprays everything for you. You can choose not to do certain areas, or ask her to touch up certain places. I asked her to double up on my legs and arms, as they are the most visible.
She was also telling me the formula they use is organic and all natural, which is kind of nice, but unsure at what percentage.
Afterwards, she will dry you with the warm air from the machine, then she leaves. She says that once everything doesn’t feel sticky anymore, to put clothes on. But it still felt sticky after 15 mins. I would suggest asking her how to use the drying hose, and continue after she leaves.
Nonetheless, the tan still developed all over. I looked like a scary brown monster until I showered after 6 – 8 hours. It all came off and left a nice dark bronze, no streaks, no blotches.
The colour lasted for the entire weekend of my competition, but like any spray tan, my face was noticeably lighter than the rest since i wash my face at least 3 times a day.
I would say this colour would last about a week.
