I had been to Laura previously at their old location and she did a great job on my lashes, but I wanted a more subtle look on this occasion so when I booked a 55 lash-​per-​eye, Maggie was the only option on the online system. She was fantastic! She’s a soft-​spoken, charming, irish lady who is very detail oriented, and designed me a lash set with a combination of two different curl/​lengths to get the natural, yet cat eye, look that I was going for. I booked my lash fill with her instantly. As someone that has had lash extensions a ton of times, from a variety of places all over the city, I can confidently say she did a wonderful job! I got eyelash extensions for my destination wedding. Laura was able to fit me in last minute before my flight. She is absolutely awesome and very meticulous! The was my first time getting them done so I was concerned that I would react to the adhesive due to my sensitive skin. She assured me that it was unlikely that would happen due to the product that they use.
The process itself was very relaxing– I almost fell asleep! Opening my eyes for the end result was amazing. My lashes were long and voluminous yet natural looking which was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. My lashes lasted almost 4 weeks, I tried my best to take care of them, but I am guilty of always rubbing my eyes.
I highly recommend Laura at BeFabulous! I have seen others’ lash jobs from other salons and I have to say, they look very fake and cheap. I will definitely come back in the future!

Laura is by far the best lash extension expert in Toronto. I have recommended many of my friends and colleagues to her and none of them have been able to go anywhere else since!
My lashes always look natural yet dramatic enough that I do not need to wear make-​up (which is what I requested and the look I’m going for). Getting lash extensions is a timely process but Laura makes you very comfortable and she is very careful so you can’t feel any discomfort — you can literally fall asleep like a baby!

After many experiences elsewhere, Laura does the best work by far. Zero irritation or allergic reaction, and even after three weeks (two of which were spent in 40 degree heat in and out of salt water!) my lashes still looked great. They are natural but noticeable — I am completely hooked, and plan on keeping them on for quite some time. Although a little on the pricier end, her work is completely worth it! Highly recommend.

I have been visiting Laura for quite a while and she is amazing. I have been to several places for lash extension in Toronto but Laura is the best technician I’ve found. Trust me! She knows what she’s doing.

I’m really happy with my lash extensions. However, I regret not saying anything when I saw lashes from the previous client on the towel where I had to rest my head. That’s not too hygienic :(must change the towel! People also have head lice!

Laura is simply the best there’s nothing more to it. I have gone to various places before discovering her, notably MYNC, considered a top notch lash chain around Toronto, yet nowhere did I get the painless, careful, focused experience and most impressive and completely out of this world lash application I got at Be Fabulous. Every time I look in the mirror when she’s done I’m blown away. It’s almost as though a robot did it– each lash is so perfectly applied and even when they grow out, they never look messy. I must admit– I can’t stop now that I’ve started! They make me feel great and I wear less makeup as a result.
The studio is very relaxing too, no one else in there so keeping still and calm comes easily. I normally just fall asleep and wake up when she’s done!
Laura is very accommodating in my experience and a friendly person all around. This is the only lash place I recommend!

I can only say positive things about Laura and her lash extension boutique! I have been seeing her for almost 4 years and after a few experiences in both Toronto and abroad, I would never consider going anywhere else. She is easy to reach, reliable, friendly, and very professional. I have experimented with many looks including natural, glamourous, and even coloured lashes — and every time, I walk way completely satisfied! Laura is the best, there’s nothing more to it!

Laura is fantastic. I had my first set of extensions in December 2014 and have been back every 4 weeks for a fill since. The lashes look natural (if you want that) and don’t have that scraggly look that some extensions have if the aesthetician just slops on a bunch of same length lashes. I was pretty hesitant at first because I have contacts and sensitive skin/​eyes that water a lot, but Laura’s materials are top notch. I haven’t had an allergic reaction, eyes fine, and best of all, my lashes still loo pretty good after a month. Some friends that have gone to other places end up having to fill every 2 – 3 weeks. I’m not super careful either (wake up with my face in the pillow, toddler rubs his hands across my eyes, etc) but I am careful to remove any eyeliner with a q-​tip instead of a sponge or cotton ball wipe. Love my lashes, and I only need to use eyeliner now instead of eyeliner, mascara, etc every day.

I’ve been seeing Laura for my eyelash extensions and waxing for over a year. I keep going back because she has a great quality product and service. The lashes stay on for about a month and everywhere I go I get complimented on them! I recommend befabulous spa studio to everyone especially first timers. Laura is very gentle and kind.

My rating is on the over all business — not on the quality of the lashes. Without a doubt the lashes are ¹⁰⁄₁₀.
When I first booked I was visiting Toronto in February and had never got them done before. I called up made the appointment, and actually missed that appointment because I lost my wallet. (Eek!) Luckily and thankfully — she let me reschedule. The lash tech Laura was a little awkward and seemed a little cold to talk to when I first met her, and the during the process she had the window open and I was freezing so bad I was shaking. I asked her if she could grab my sweater for me and cover me with it (thought that would be a hint enough to close the window) but no. I know I should have asked her to just shut the window so I can’t really blame her, but I didn’t want to be rude so I just let it go. So all in all the experience was pretty comfortable.
Now when I went to rebook a while later, I had been writing her back and forth about eyelash related things and I messages her asking about appointment times on a specific day as I needed to book. A few days, no reply, few more days, no reply. Nearly 2 weeks later she wrote me back. That’s a long time to get back to a customer. I assumed all my questions annoyed her and that’s why she wasn’t responding to my emails so I found another technician.
A few days ago I decided it probably wasn’t on purpose, and I was reading too much into it, so I should go back to Laura. I emailed to find appointment times and she replied «all booked that day, sorry!» No other optional days no nothing. So at this point I’m thinking — wow she really doesn’t want me as a client which is crazy because it wS her that took forever to get back to me which was why I went to another salon in the first place!
Overall everyone probably won’t have the same experience as me, but I found her to be slightly cold with a «I have plenty if clients I don’t need you» aura. But that being said she does do fantastic work do take it with a grain of salt and book with her, you won’t regret it.

My first eyelash extension experience was really enjoyable. The place itself is inside an old building, but the spa was clean and very welcoming. I thought it was really cute that everyone leaves their boots near the door before going inside the spa itself! (as if you were entering someone’s home).
Personally, I really love the dramatic look of false lashes. I wanted extensions so I wouldn’t have to bother wearing falsies/​mascara on a daily basis. Laura was really sweet and she definitely knew her stuff. I showed her images of what I wanted my lashes to look like and she got it right on point. The entire process was really relaxing. I love that my lashes are so dramatic, yet they look natural (unlike false lashes). I’ll definitely be coming back here :)

I was in desperate need of lash repair after a botched job I had done over a month ago using a Groupon. Note: not all eyelash extensions and technicians are created equally and a sub-​par job can lead to damaged eyelashes, discomfort and pain. I found Laura and Be Fabulous online via review sites. So many positive reviews motivated me to call and book a consultation. The spa is lovely and Laura was professional and knowledgeable. She removed the painful lashes and I felt instant relief. She reassessed and recommended a set of natural lashes to complement my eyes and we made an appointment for the following day. Words cannot do justice to the outcome. What an ego boost! Laura is an artist. She selected the perfect length, weight and curl for my eyes and I feel like a million bucks. To add to my delight, her fee was lower than another salon I have visited. I highly recommend Laura. She is amazing!

Best eyelash extensions ive ever had, Laura is so knowledgeable and knows which lashes will work well with your eye type. I’ve been hooked since the first application, the lashes last longer then a week unlike other places ive been to. Highly recommend! When you go, tell Laura I sent you.

I have known that Laura was the best lash person in the city — I tried others when I first started wearing extensions a few years ago — but it wasn’t until I went in for emergency eye surgery recently and my eye surgeon was admiring how good my lashes were even under his microscopic lenses! He said he’d seen hundreds of lash extensions and mine were, by far, the best!

I am no eyelash extension virgin-​and I’m pretty picky. Laura is my top choice!
I find that she has a ‘great eye’-she can look at someone and tailor the lash extensions to the individual. That’s extraordinary! I don’t like the ‘all one length lashes’ look. Her lashes are natural looking and they last! I usually get between 6 – 8 weeks out of mine. She also offers quite a few options-​crystals & jewels and colored lashes!
Laura also gives a great ‘after-​care’ kit-​not just the little spoolie brush I have received at the other studio I used to go to. It’s a full bag of items! Her space is small but comfortable, clean and tidy, which is important in that type of industry. She takes her time too which I really like!
Highly highly recommend for lash extensions-​she is so personable. Prices are reasonable for the results!

I visited Laura to get eyelash extensions last week and I’m already itching to go back again!
The spa itself is lovely (clean, quaint, and the butterfly décor is beautiful!) but it’s Laura’s expert service and friendly attitude that sets Be Fabulous apart.
My lashes look phenomenal — I’m getting compliments on them constantly! I’d highly recommend this service for anyone looking to give their look a simple and effective boost!

I found Laura/​Be Fabulous a few years ago and have never gone anywhere else! I have referred anyone I know looking for a waxist to her as she is AMAZING!
She’s very friendly and personable, relaxed and makes you feel completely comfortable. She is professional and everything in the studio is clean and hygienic!
The no-​scream cream and her skill make a brazilian a total breeze (trust me — normally I’m a total wuss but she’s *that* good!) and you’re out of there in 30 minutes. She does an amazing job and her prices are competitive (if not below) those at other salons.
In addition she is centrally located at College/​Yonge and has evening appointments (which is great for us 9−5ers!), and booking is a breeze — she responds to emails/​phone calls about appointments speedily!
I highly, highly recommend Laura at Be Fabulous for any of your waxing needs!

I just wanted to update my review and say that I had eyelash extensions applied since my last review — for my wedding day (and every 4 weeks since — they are addictively beautiful!) by Laura!
One application was at the Sweetgrass Spa where Laura also does lashes (and she helped me arrange a fantastic spa day for me & my maid of honour! Can I just reiterate again how awesome Laura is?), and once at the BeFabulous studio (my favourite)!
They are absolutely stunning, people are always asking about them, they cause absolutely no irritation, they’re light, they look natural but are longer & more fabulous than your normal lashes! You can get different lengths and curliness, different colours… rhinestones…sparkles… whatever you want/​need/​desire! And of course Laura is so great to talk to that the time just flows by… totally relaxing!
Laura gives great (simple) instructions on the care and I find they last well into 4 weeks with the proper care!
