At BarChef our focus is to provide the ultimate means to imbibe. Original recipes only found here, all bitters are made in house using such spices as star anise, cardamom, cumin, black pepper, licorice root and wormwood. We strive to use only the freshest ingredients, artisanal spirits, as well as an extensive molecular program, which provides an interesting perception and the challenge of conventional thinking, welcome to a new perspective. We put as much care into these drinks as a chef would a dish; these ain’t no cosmos or sour apple martinis… we don’t do those here.

Meet the Business Owner
Brent V.
Business Owner
Brent VanderVeen is the co-owner of BarChef, responsible for the design, development and management of the bar. Together with Frankie Solarik, Brent coordinated the creation of BarChef, including the development and execution of the business plan, hiring of all professional trades, and management of ongoing operations.
Prior to his vision of BarChef Brent has worked in all aspects of the restaurant and bar industry including serving, bartending, managing and is an accredited sommelier, however his passion has always been spirits.
