This place is more butcher shop than barber shop. Asked for a little off the top, showed 4 pictures of what I was looking for, and came out with your basic square crew cut. NOT what I asked for. In then end they took about 3 inches off the top… Not my definition of a little. I think every one cutting hair is basically a one trick pony. They only know one hair cut and no matter what you want, that’s what you’re gonna get. Absolutely brutal. They also rushed the cut like it was some kind of race. Never again.

True about the place not the greatest and the Receptionist not so friendly with lots of attitude. Not recommended.

The staff is unfriendly, rushes the haircut & didn’t properly remove loose hair. I work downtown in the financial district so getting a good haircut is important. I’ve been to Civello, Fiorio, Magic Cut & $ 7 Chinese places. I’ve gone to Barber’s Chair twice because it is close to my home & to confirm my opinion of the place. The floors were unswept & in both cases the hair cutter seems very impatient to get the hair cut. When I was trying to bring my glasses from underneath the apron to confirm her question, she immediately stuck an impatient pose with her hand on her hip. She did not give her name or try to initiate any friendly chatter. She would much rather talk to the towel lady who was dropping off towels. My haircut was consider okay. A haircut there is $ 25. It is way better to spend the extra $ 5 at Fiorio. Thank you for reading my review.
