We went to Athens Pastries due to there’s only 1 fancy restaurant for us to choose before we go to Woodbine Beach besides Athens. Hot dishes don’t have too much choice. We ordered Spanakopita Spiral and Kreatopita($ 3.75@, before taxes). Price of coffee is not bad, based on hot tourist area in the summertime.($ 1.90@). They also serve Gelato but never try it this time. A bit of line up around 3pm during weekend, so avoid to go at these time. Washroom is clean. Service is just alright. Good for you if you like patio close to the beach. Nice bar chairs and table to sit down and relax inside the café. Parking tips; Try to find a spot park around residential area opposite of the beach, instead of validated parking at the beach area. Will I go back !? Maybe not.(Another reason: They don’t accept credit card and no wi-fi).

Spinach Pie by the beach? Yes, please. I love to come down here when the weather is nice. We take the dogs for a walk, and stop in for the city’s best spinach pie(I usually go the danforth location… I’ve also been to their Scarborough one)…One thing’s for sure… spinach pie is good, the meat pie is good… and the cheese pie is good too. You can’t go wrong. Plus this location is by the beach… A little piece of greek pastry heaven by the water. It’s tasty.

Great place to grab a coffee and a pastry after a stroll on the boardwalk. I love how they renovated this café/restaurant. It used to be this run-down old place and now it looks nice and modern. It has a nice vibe to it and looks like a café on the Greek Mediterranean shore. I should say that I really liked their latte. As you know, it’s hard to come by a truly good and tasty cup of latte in the city. Most places don’t know how to make a proper latte. Can’t wait to try one of their pastries next time I’m in the neighbourhood.

Great location(close to Beach, although there is no Beach view. Still its very convenient). Coffee is actually surprisingly decent. Had an Americano and wife had the Ice Latte. Both were good and I will return if I’m in the area. Coffee prices are very reasonable too Also had a gelato, which was overpriced(almost $ 6!) Wifi available(need password). Takes credit card. Will return. Next time, I’ll try the pastries

Went here after playing some beach volleyball. This place is right at the beaches at Ash bridges bay. I tried the spanakopita and it is really good and tastes authentic. They bake it fresh daily and it comes out really flaky with a good cheese/spinach consistency that balances well with the taste of the pastry. This is the best spanakopita I’ve ever had! I also had an iced americano which has intense coffee bean bitter flavor which some might not like, even though I did. The seating area is pleasant with indoor café style seating and also outdoor patio seating with umbrellas.

Showing some friends of ours the Beaches and came about Athen’s Pastries. I have to say how impressed am I with this place. Although, I only had a cold coffee(excellent), I couldn’t help drool over the desserts and menu. The place has a nice modern décor and outdoor seating. I hope they are open in the winter too.
