When you visit Aristides Dos Leitões you will get to the opportunity to taste a little bit of heaven in the form of «Leitão à Bairrada”(a delicious roasted suckling piglet) which is roasted in a wood oven by a cook that was born and raised in Bairrada. He has the special touch and makes each piglet taste succulent with his family recipe passed down from generations.

If you aren’t in the mood for piglet we also have the moistest, fall off the bone rotisserie and grilled chicken cooked on a charcoal grill which is seasoned with our in house spicy and savory sauce which is accompanied with parisienne potatoes, vegetable rice and a fresh tossed salad.

We have a menu of daily fish, meat and soup specials of delicious traditional and popular Portuguese dishes. Codfish casseroles (bacalhau com natas, bacalhau à brás, etc), fried sole fillets, grilled salmon, beef, pork, chicken and seafood stews, our homemade Portuguese sausages, steak and pork on a bun,“bitoque» and so much more.

Even though Aristides dos Leitões has only been open for a year the name and the food of Aristides dos Leitões has become well known and preferred by people from the community and word has spread throughout the city. We take pride in our food, we strive to serve the best tasting food to every customer and have heard nothing but positive feedback. We take orders and reservations for catering services, for anniversaries, confirmations, baptisms and wedding celebrations or any other type of social events and even for simple daily family meals. We have a large dining room as well as a LLBO license. We are open 6 days a week (Thursday-​Tuesday), we have the tastiest leitão à Bairrada on Saturday and Sunday, succulent barbecued chicken as well as different traditional Portuguese daily dishes for lunch or dinner are ready for take-​out or to eat here.
