ARCHIVES officially opened its doors in October 2014 and is located adjacent to the Four Seasons in Toronto’s most chic and sophisticated neighbourhood, Yorkville. As the city’s newest luxury design house, the boutique specializes in exquisite jewellery, daring accessories and premium lifestyle items. Showcasing the most sought-after designers in the world, ARCHIVES is the exclusive national carrier for the majority of its international collections.

Creative Director Jaleh Farhadpour, the visionary behind the unique concept boutique, traveled across the globe to meet and select leading-edge jewellery designers. ARCHIVES is thus an exclusive collection of both established and promising designers including the likes of delfina delettrez, Cristina Ortiz, YEWN and MEISSEN. Among the featured pieces are Jaleh’s own best selling designs (all one-of-a-kind), along with the option to have jewellery designed and custom-made at the store’s in-house atelier.

Commenting on her vision for ARCHIVES, Jaleh describes it as: «An evolving showroom for one-of-a-kind jewellery and objets d’art, giving people the opportunity to be inspired by the cross-section of talent showcased». She further expresses that ARCHIVES will «never be predictable and will always highlight the latest and the best in both jewellery design and exclusive lifestyle brands».

ARCHIVES is open everyday and offers exclusive viewings by appointment only.

Meet the Business Owner

Jaleh F.

Business Owner

In 2005, Jaleh launched her line of fine jewelry to support victims of the tsunami in Sri Lanka. It was an idea that came to life accidentally while she was volunteering in Sri Lanka following the catastrophe. She became fascinated by the colourful gems of Ceylon and by their healing power.

The line was first presented at a private fundraiser and was then picked up by the Sandra Ainsley Gallery in Toronto’s Distillery District. She was then noted by the CEO of Holt Renfrew, where she was invited to present her line at Holt Renfrew’s flagship store on Bloor Street. She then entered into collaborations with many high-end stores and fine galleries throughout Canada and the United States.

Her pieces are reminiscent of her nostalgic view of the lost paradise within her native Persia, and her admiration for nature. Jaleh incorporates into her craft the importance of each individual gem used. Her art relies highly on her training and her exposure to different cultures.
