The procedures we offer include dental implants and bone grafting, crown lengthening, gum grafting, scaling and root planning, and periodontal cleaning and maintenance.

History

Established in 2004.

Yonge Eglinton Periodontics is a specialty practice that aims to establish healthy mouths. Periodontics is the field of dentistry that focuses on the foundation for the teeth.

As a certified specialist, Dr. Kay spent three years AFTER regular dental school solely studying periodontics and implant surgery. He has lectured nationally and internationally, and has conducted numerous scientific studies in the field.

My practice philosophy and goal is to deliver excellent, accessible and affordable evidence-​based dental treatment and patient care.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University, a Master’s of Science in Orthopaedic Reserach, also from Mcgill, my Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Toronto and a three year post-​graduate Master’s Degree in Periodontology, also at the University of Toronto. I am also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the International time for Implantology (among other national and international groups)

My commitment to providing the absolute best patient care means I stay actively involved in researching the latest advancements and best practices in periodontology, implants and bone biology.
