History

Established in 2006.

Tracey TieF, founder, is a Certified Natural Health Practitioner who carries on a family tradition in the healing arts. Her multidisciplinary health practice began in 2006 and grew exponentiallly. In March 2014, Tracey opened Anarres Apothecary steps north of Bloor on Dovercourt Road, 1 block west of the Delaware exit of Ossington subway station.

Anarres Apothecary has been renovated using sustainable materials such as 94% recycled felt underpadding, 90% recycled flooring, milk & 100% recycled paints. The space now offers a 500 sq foot dance floor, office, kitchenette/​lab, lounge, walk in cooler and two large consulting & treatment rooms for rent to holistic pratitioners and groups.

Anarres Apothecary continues to grow with the participation of Apprentices Emine, Tynan (of Rhea Moon) & Katy, partners Charlene Freedom (Tarot & Intuitive Healing), The Nesting Place (Prenatal classes and Doula Care), Branch Out Theatre (workshops & productions) plus WWOOFers from all over the world.

Business Owner

Tracey TieF, Certified Natural Health Preactitioner, has a lifelong passion for social justice, engaging indigenist values, and expressed in building alternative economic relationships through her teaching, her business and her life.

Tracey has an extensive background in physical therapies and the healing arts. She is recognized by the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners as a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, Registered Aromatherapy Health Practitioner and Certified Reflexology Health Practitioner. She practices hypnotherapy as an NGH Certified Consulting Hypnotist. She is featured in Beth Terry’s bestselling book Plastic FREE as a Zero Waste Hero.
