History

Established in 1958.

Our business is a continuation of a dental office that had been serving the community since 1920. We are located in two Parkdale mansions, 1244 and 1246 King Street West. The original dental office was the main floor of a Dr. Mumford’s house. In 1958, my father purchased the business with two partners and expanded it to what you see today.

Dr. Allison Blatt was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology from York University in 1993, Dr. Allison was very fortunate to be accepted into the dental program at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. GO CARDINALS! After graduation in 1997, Dr. Allison remained in Louisville, KY for an additional year, where she completed an Advanced Education in Dentistry Residency.

Since July of 1998, Dr. Allison has been practicing general dentistry in Toronto with her father, Dr. Ralph Blatt, and her sister, Dr. Robyn Blatt. This arrangement has created an extremely warm and comfortable environment in which to practice, as we have become familiar with each other’s patients and coverage is readily available.

Dr. Allison practices all facets of dentistry, but she has a true affinity for endodontic therapy, such as root canal treatment.
