Ak Aesthetics

Katie has been my esthetician for years and I was thrilled when she opened up her own place! She does the best brazillians and is amazing for eyebrows too. The spa is clean and they don’t double dip. Katie is professional, thorough and one of the friendliest people I know. Her sweet demeanor and thoroughness make getting a Brazilian so much easier. I’ve had these services performed elsewhere and other estheticians just don’t compare! Also great prices and centrally located.

At first I was skeptical about getting a Brazilian at a place without any reviews, but I guess I’ll be the first to say this place is awesome!
Katy is one of the sweetest aestheticians I’ve ever met. I was greeted with a friendly smile (though I was 15-​min late) and the room had baby wipes and a piece of candy (very thoughtful) on top.
The room is very clean & Katy wears a glove at all times when doing her thing. I’m happy to announce that they don’t double dip here!
Me: «You guys don’t double dip right?»
Katy: «Ew, that’s just gross.»
I was very reassured and during the whole experience, Katy kept a flowing conversation to keep my mind away from the pain.
Their normal price for a Brazilian is only $ 39, which is amazing for a Yorkville spa. They aren’t difficult to find — located on the second floor of Roman Empire Hair Salon.
Katy did a fantastic job. I can’t believe they don’t have prior reviews till now.
