History

Established in 2014.

After obtaining a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto, Aila Makooli pursued her legal degree abroad. Upon completing her Juris Doctor degree at Bond University, Australia, Aila returned to Canada where she worked with a boutique immigration law firm. She then went on to pursue further legal training with Andrew Rogerson Professional Corporation and N. Gregory McNally & Associates, where she gained both domestic and international legal experience. Aila opened the Makooli Law Firm in 2014.

Aila’s practice focuses on immigration, real estate, corporate and commercial matters. Of particular interest to her are real estate and mortgage syndications. Aila’s domestic and international experience brings a unique perspective to her practice, resulting in creative solutions for her clients.
