History

Established in 2012.

Affable Technology Solutions was started by an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at University of Toronto. There is alot of emphasis given to user-​friendly design and adapting technology to human needs and not vice versa (bad design asks users to adapt to technology), however, we still see unfriendly designs everywhere. Also, business owners who do not have technical knowledge misunderstand websites as an appliance. Websites or web apps, only help a business if they are kept up to date and are customized (if not created) for your business. Affable Technology Solutions solves these problems by making sure that each design is reviewed by a business strategist who works together with the client to develop competitive strategy for the business. Every effort is made to make sure that the website/​app understands the target customers and is designed for them.

Qaiser Aftab A.

Business Owner

Qaiser Aftab is a Electrical and Computer Engineer from University of Toronto. He has completed a number of front-​end and back-​end programming projects. Along with a strong technical side, he also studied Engineering Business minor, and has taken business related courses in competitive strategy, finance, organizational behaviour, economics and accounting. Currently, he is a member of team Reevo at UofT Entrepreneurship Hatchery.

His interests include wearable computing, cloud computing, User Experience Design (UED), app development and entrepreneurship. He loves to build products and be part of technical teams, adding his technical and business skills to the development process.
