Hipsters not included(Looking at you, Rooster Coffee), and the baristas here are incredible. A cappuccino and cookie here is the highlight of my day.

Very cozy, lofty, café. They do offer almond milk as one of their non dairy options, which is a great alternative against my dairy and soy allergies. My favourite items to order are almond milk latte and organic gluten free walnut-cranberry muffin. Warning, if you order the organic gluten free walnut-cranberry muffin you will get«Hooked!»

Products: Coffee was amazing as well as their specialty drinks. Baked goods are out of this world especially the chocolate chip sea salt cookie(MUSTTRY!) Customer Service: Needs a lot of work. I have never seen any of the baristas smile and a particular woman(chunky one) has a lot of attitude. If it wasn’t for the cookie, I would not go back. One would think they would be super nice and joyful given the fact the work at a café with caffeine everywhere. I would just already be hyper from the aroma in that café.

I finally made my way over to this place. I had been meaning to go for a while. Turns out it was definitely worth it. The coffee was well done and my Baristas were wonderful and seemed to be very familiar with their regulars. They have up on the walls, personal art of one of the Baristas. The pieces are amazing and have great display. The café has a bit of a mixed vibe; A cross between family/kid friendly and bring-your-lap-top/sketch book-and-get-creative. The location is quiet but pretty interesting. Around the corner from the café is a gorgeous hidden court yard that you wouldn’t expect. The Academy offers almond milk which doesn’t happen everyday which I was grateful for and their pastries were a great mix of healthy/guilty pleasure. I would definitely recommend you go a little out of your way to stop by this place. Check out the art and talk to the Baristas! …and order a coffee.
