History

Established in 1946.

In 1946, Ray and Rita Lally opened a small service station in Comber Ontario, and immediately set a high standard for how their customers would be rewarded for doing business with their family.

During that time, the Lally’s built a rock solid reputation for customer satisfaction that extended far beyond the confines of the tiny village. In the fall of 1982, the family brought their work ethic and customer-​oriented manner of doing business under the Ford logo. Ray and Rita’s son, Vince, who grew up learning the service business from his parents and became a licensed mechanic, purchased the Ford dealership from his parents 3 years later.

From the beginning, Lally Ford earned awards of excellence from Ford Motor Company, including the prestigious Distinguished Service Award and the Presidents Award 16 times.

Meet the Manager

Adam L.

Manager

Adam Lally has grown up in and around the car business and the Ford family. A few years after they took on the Ford Franchise the Lally’s had added a 3^rd generation and a future toilet scrubber. Adam was raised in the Tilbury/​Comber area and enjoys the small community county lifestyle. He played Hockey for the Tilbury Thunder and was a lot attendant at nights after High School.

He has always had a passion for customer service; when you grow up in the dealership environment it’s easy to feel like you have one big extended family in the employees and customers at the dealership.
