History

Established in 1995.

Cosmo’s Diner is a landmark in the historic town of Thorold, nestled right between Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Opened in the 1970’s by a man named Cosmo it has prevailed as a leader for the best breakfast in the Niagara region for 40 years. Boasting a huge menu that ranges from the traditional bacon and eggs breakfast, to their famous thick cut Peameal Bacon, Poutine Breakfast and sizzling Skillets, not to mention Stuffed French Toast, and deep fried French toast peanut butter and jam sandwich Cosmo’s Diner has the best breakfast and lunch menu around.

When we visit the Welland Canal, we always treat ourselves to Cosmos in Thorold. Their breakfast/​brunch menu is huge, and is always a taste experience.
Super yummy skillets or the breakfast special, Cosmos will always please you!
As a matter of fact, we enjoy Cosmos so much that we stopped in for lunch on our way to Niagara Falls to be married!
They have a cool décor and the friendliest staff! Sure beats eating somewhere close to home!

Been here a few times, food is decent, not spectacular, toast was over done so it was hard to eat, atmosphere was ok, music selection was nostalgic, staff was friendly, loved how they brought me coffee in a thermos so they weren’t constantly bugging me, just two girls who were being loud kinda ruined the morning ambiance.

We had an awesome Brunch here. I loved the pick 5 items for $ 5.95 idea, it was very tasty and fresh. I ordered baked beans, white toast, bacon (2 orders) and a pancake. I was full! The 50s style décor was so cool with the furniture from that era (grandmas tables come to mind here) It felt like home. Home style cooking great breakfast and lunch specials most meals under $ 10. Service was great and quick! We sat at the Elvis table :)
