— Experienced, BC-​certified teachers will help students achieve academic success and develop good study habits.

Test Prep.

— Provincial Exams, IB, TOEFL, IELTS, SAT I & II, and Math contests (AMC, CMC)

English 10 & 12 Provincial Exam Prep.

— This course will help students prepare for the upcoming exam. Areas of learning will include: glossary terms; reading and analysis of poetry and non-​fiction texts; command prompts in synthesis essays; persuasive, expository, and narrative essay styles; use of exemplars to illustrate the 3 scoring grids; self-​evaluation and time management.

ESL

— The intensive ESL class will help students keep up with the regular study pace in school and build confidence in their speaking abilities in their daily lives. The class will be comprised of listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary.

Grammar & Writing

— Students will learn to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in their writing. Prewriting skills including, developing ideas, thesis construction, and conclusions will also be taught. Various writing styles will also be covered through reading analysis and writing.

Established in 2000.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce our school. World Vision Academy was established in the year 2000 in Vancouver. In the past 10 years, our success has been made possible due to the dedication and commitment of our staff who work hard to ensure that our students receive excellent education. Students of World Vision Academy have achieved much success and have enrolled in various post-​secondary education.

Our goal at World Vision Academy is to assist each student to achieve academic success. We believe that all students can be successful if they develop a personal vision of excellence, set measurable goals, and plan their time effectively. Our highly qualified and experienced staff will assist students in developing such skills so that they can achieve the goals they set.
