Established in 1992.

Walkabout Inspections is a two person home inspection service that presently has two offices across British Columbia. Each office of Walkabout Inspections is independently owned and operated, but a common thread runs through each. Our mandate for our consumer: be fair, honest, thorough, non-​biased, and most importantly: be there for you!

Origins

Walkabout Inspections: Gary Poirier joined forces with Robert Parr to develop a home inspection company that was based on helping the customer get to know their house and be comfortable not only with their purchase, but with the maintenance and running of their home.

Our Home Reporting System is user-​friendly, providing the customer with additional information, over and above the standard reporting system. The report is updated on a frequent basis to keep current and surpass industry standards.

Gary Poirier has been inspecting homes since 1992. His home inspection education was obtained through the Inspection Training Associates, and he has obtained ongoing education through ASHI.
