This was my first time at Tynehead Park. I love how big this park is and all the different trails it has to offer. It is also dog friendly with the large off-leash area. There are many different trails with clearly marked paths. You will also find picnic benches by the parking lots to rest/wait/eat. All-in-all, a great place to go.

Tynehead Regional Park is a jewel of a park located in Surrey BC. The trails are very well maintained and very pleasant to take a hike along! You are often under the cover of the canopy of the trees so you will not be as hot in the summer along these trails. The park also has the Serpentine River flowing through it which adds some nice creek views. In spawning season some really big salmon make their way to this park and the fish hatchery takes them and helps along the spawning process. Children will love to check out the fish hatchery if it is open as well. Bikes are only aloud along the Serpentine Fields perimeter trail all other trails are no bikes aloud. So if you are looking for a nice walk in the woods to get away from it all without having to drive for hours check this park out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
