Great fun for everyone, full bar and food menu… Laser effects bowling is awesome, definitely going to remember to wear a shirt that reacts to black lights next time.

I booked my son’s birthday party here and I am very glad I did. It is extremely fair in price and the customer service was excellent! 3 had 3 lanes going and 1 lane was significantly slower than the kids on the other 2 lanes so they reset the other 2 lanes and let those kids keep bowling until the slow lane completed the 1 game I paid for. They definitely didn’t have to do that.
I will also make a point of telling you they provide everything except the cake and candles. Yes, I mean everything… even a knife to cut the cake with. They do all the setup/​cleanup and don’t kick you out the minute your party ends.
I would agree with previous reviewers that the seating is less than ideal. It was great for 2 of the 3 lanes because they got to face each other but the remaining lane had to sit across from strangers. I also agree that the parking in front is limited and feel that they could better advertise the additional parking as I drove past, saw it was full and then proceeded to park on a public street and walk.
I’m in no way saying they are perfect, they’re just the best alley I have ever been to in terms of price and service. Also, there are only 3 choices for 10 pin in the lower mainland. If you want 10-​pin your options are very limited and trust me, this place is the best of them.

I am giving it 4 stars for now since I don’t know of any other bowling alleys in the area and so far my experience at Sandcastle has been good.
They have fairly big party room as well so it will be good for birthday parties.
They have daily specials. I can’t really comment on the prices since I don’t really go bowling that often. But my kid seems to have fun and never really had any issues here.
The parking is limited at the front but there is ample parking at the back of the building.

The food is sooooo much better then I expected!!! It was great. One star down because the bar girl was rude and knew nothing… so told me to google ingredients of a drink…(club soda lime and vodka…)
But will definitely go back for the food!
The seating for bowling was a little awkward you are facing the people across from you and about 3 feet apart is a little close for us lol.

I got the worst service here. The incompetent lady who was working completely wasted 45 mins of my time by having the worst customer service ever and lying to me. We went in to bowl and she told us we would be the first on the waiting list. So we waited 15 mins and a lane opened up but when I went to go ask if we could get it she said they had a reservation for 15 mins from now that they needed to hold it for. Fair enough. So I said okay but we’re next right? and she proceeded to say yes. Then 20 mins later 3 lanes opened up. (I’d also like to add here that the other people had still not shown up for their reservation). So I went up to the counter and sure enough she told me they had more reservations and all those lanes were going to be used. I got so upset with her for lying to me and wasting my time. This place is a joke. I will not be going back to bowl there. Safe your time and drive to a decent place.
