FANTASTIC customer service! I went in on Dec. 23, and they were completely swamped, with a line through the small shop. They’d just run out of assorted milk/​dark 18 piece boxes that my dad had asked me to pick up for him. As soon as I asked where they were in the store, the employee with funky glasses broke the «we just ran out «news, and in the same sentence, offered to make the boxes up for me. I was super impressed at the above and beyond offer of service, even at such a busy time of year, when they could easily have just said «we’re out, here are some other things we can try to sell you!» Will be back (once the parking lot is less holiday-​zoo-​like!)!!!

Seems new, so that’s why ;) As with most Purdy’s locations, they sure know their marketing and get a hold of the mall’s landlord, corner locations are their choice. But I digress.
Was in the hood and normally i’m sure for their infamous Sweet Georgia Browns but a cute birdie told me to try their turona – a crunchier, less sweet version of a Hedgehog, though not in that shape. A bit larger than their a la carte caramel squares.
Yes, it’s a winner; bought a 6-​pc for less than $ 9. Smooth, light, a bit of a chocolate ganache inside.
Nice that they gave me a half-​piece to try it first.

Everytime we pass by purdy’s my wife always says how good their vanilla bars are. I couldnt have any because i went crazy at ny fries leaving me pretty stuffed. I told her she could have one, so she ordered a bar double-​dipped in chocolate and nuts. You have the option to get it dipped in white chocolate or sprinkles too. After having a bite, it was everything she said it was! You know, whenever someone hypes something up, ill try it and usually im unimpressed, but this time it actually lived up to the hype my wife gave it! Its decently priced… not a huge serving size so you ladies wont feel its a guilty pleasure but its still big enough for us guys to enjoy.
The lady that helped my wife was super-​friendly. They must be doing something right there cuz when i turned around a long line had formed. I’m glad we beat the rush. If you were lucky enough to win a free $ 5 gift card from the guildford mall customer service desk, you’ll be happy to know purdy’s honours it!
