New Name, New Owners — I didn’t try this place when it was «select pizza», but I am a Fan after today!
The new name of this business is: Pizza 96
I found this place while searching on Unilocal for Indian Food believe it or not. This was the closest business offering indian food in my area.
When I called, I heard a cheerful voice answer: «Pizza 96, may I take your order?»
I cautiously asked if they also delivered Indian Food and the answer was «yes»!
I asked if they had a combo meal for 2…
They said that they had a 1 pizza (3 topping) + Nan bread + Indian dish (like butter chicken) for around $ 20!!!
I ordered this plus some extra rice and Nan which came to $ 32 after delivery.
I was able to order butter chicken as a pizza topping!!! (that blew my mind!)
The food was delivered in under 45 minutes and was fresh. The delivery guy was friendly and spoke excellent english.
I had to drop it by one star because the rice to me was not the same (flavor-​wise) as i would get at an Indian restaurant, but hey — it was delivery and it’s a pizza place.
That alone did not constitute a loss of a star, but also the butter chicken topping didn’t have the zip i was picturing in my mind. Maybe add butter chicken sauce on top of the pizza? I don’t know… I will experiment with this on my next order!
Don’t get me wrong, the pizza was FRESH and so were the ingredients — we really enjoyed it!
I DO have to say that the Garlic Nan and the Butter Chicken were AUTHENTIC! This was definitely NOT from a can or mix. This was made from scratch as I could see the various ingredients throughout the sauce.
Bottom Line: Can’t decide between Indian or Pizza? Order from these guys — you won’t be disappointed!
