This salon is the worst I have ever been to. I had called them asking if they could add a toner to my hair over the phone. They said sure no problem and booked my appointment. I arrive there, the guy Richard who was supposed to do my hair wasn’t even there on time, he was out at Starbucks. he arrived back at the salon 15 minutes late, he told me my hair is light enough and refused to do it. Umm? Obviously it’s not to my satisfaction. Talk about lazy employee.
They could of told me over the phone if they didn’t want to help me instead of wasting my time.
This salon rushes through hair appointments to leave early or move on to the next customer. You ask them for one thing and they do another to your hair. Why should u pay for something you don’t want ?
Oh and if you have ever boxed dyed your hair at some point in your life they will refuse to do your hair and tell u to your face. Umm? This just screams lack of training and experience.
Any GOOD hair dresser should be able to help you if they have acquired the right training. !
They only accept cash here too. Kinda fishy. Sounds like things are going on «under the table «
Just to add. If u show up a few minutes late whether it’s due to traffic or construction, they’ll refuse to take you. Talk about bad business.
You get what you pay for at this salon. Cheap is not always better.

Went here after several recommendations. Was really really disappointed with the results. I went back and had them fix it. Figured Id try it again since they seemed to be able to do a decent job the second time around. And AGAIN I had to go back after to have them fix a sloppy dye job!!! Its cheap, and I know its possible for them to do a good job, but if I need to go in 2x for every colour job this is a huge waste of my time. Id rather pay a bit more and walk out feeling great and not have to hide my hair under a baseball cap for a week.

This is my favourite place to go get my hair done. The prices are unreal (100 for full head of highlights and a cut), and the stylists are amazing! I love love love this place!

This is White Rock’s best kept secret for hair salon’s. It may seem like a hole-​in-​the-​wall type of salon, but they are fabulous! I have been coming here for 6 years and they have never failed me. I have the type of dirty blonde hair that will go red with most dyes, but the type of bleach/​dye they use on my hair makes it the colour I want (blonde, not red)! Every time I get exactly what I want (or better). And their prices? Best I’ve ever seen. All my friends cannot believe how little I pay to have my hair done at a salon. Even with the HST, a cut and highlights (even on long hair) will be $ 100 total (and to think it was $ 70 five years ago). Even though I’ve since moved to California, I still have come back here to get my hair done and plan to every time I come back to visit.
NOTE: This place is CASH or CHEQUE only! I believe there is an ATM near by that they can point you in the direction of if you forget to take out cash.
