Roomie from a past life referred this pharmacy to order prescription drugs. Obviously, an «over-​seas» pharmacy wasn’t my first priority since I’m in the states. After some extensive research with costs in the states, other American mail-​order companies, it made sense to give
a go. You can check out their website for OTC (over the counter) and RX (prescription required) designations. Check out the price and quality of contents (generic v. brand and % of doses). If Medisave carries the prescription you need, get the appropriate documentation from your doctor, fax or have the doctor call it in. There is a toll free # (877) 888 3784. Just remember the time change since its «west coast» Canada. Give them the credit card information and wait 1 – 2 weeks for shipment to arrive. Personally, I’ve always received my prescriptions in maximum 7 days.
Perhaps I will never have a face-​to-​face pharmacist to customer relationship but I consider Medisave a great way to save some of my hard earned cash. I’m not sure if there’s a cross-​continental tax involved. Keep in mind, Medisave works for me because it is convenient, customer service is simple and my prescription is straight forward. Ultimately, my decision was made to favor Medisave because my insurance wouldn’t cover the brand name drugs I knew I needed. In my ~4 years with Medisave, I’ve never had a negative issue. I’ve moved and they were happy to send a C/​O package and make changes to my billing addresses and etc.
