Ordered miso soup for 7 people– how do you go wrong with miso soup?! It was too salty? Ordered salmon salmon sashimi– almost chocked with the bone! Thank you chef! Ordered tomego– tasted old and it was brown– gross! I would not even feed it to my pets!!! Ordered California roll– that was delicious! Thank you! Ordered tuna sashimi– tasted old! Not fresh– Ordered chicken teriyaki– not good Ordered beef teriyaki– too much sauce & not enough beef Ordered nigiri– thank you– that was good Over all– we were all left disappointed and still very hungry. We will not be coming back again. The service was not friendly and our server looked grouchy. We should be the grouchy ones! We were still starving and could not eat our terrible meal miss grouchy server!

Korean people can make sushi, chinese people cannot… Yakisoba with chow-mein noodles? Chinese soy sauce with sushi? Butterfly sushi salad was super drenched with salty chinese sauce… Man, if you’re going to put your own countries twist to it, make sure it works…

Despite some of the other Unilocaler reviews I have actually had some positive experiences here. I’m guessing it depends on the day and who’s working the front of the house and kitchen. Had the Happy Choice Lunch which had the selection of rolls, appie items, and a soup included for $ 9.99 which was a great choice. I had the yam roll, California roll, veggie tempura, and a miso soup. All of which were awesome. Maple is very accommodating to children as we had a one and a half year old and a 2 month old and the other patrons had children under the age of two and unlike most places we go to we didn’t get scowled at for bringing children. Service was friendly and attentive and we will be back.

It was OK. Soup was cold. Service was slow. Rolls were very good. Teriyaki chicken was so-so but then, few make this correctly. Very pleasent atmosphere and nice staff.

Service was friendly but I’m sorry to say the food was marginal. Sushi rolls fell apart when I tried picking them up of the plate with my chopsticks and the nori tasted yucky(like the smell of the beach at low tide!), beef yakisoba was made with chow mien noodles(no soba noodles!!) and tasted like the smell of wet dog, miso soup was piss warm and the edemame was cold. Won’t hurry back here!

My sister raved about this place(it’s close to where she works) and noted the size of Maple Sushi’s portions. Well this place sucks and I won’t go back. You can read about my experience on my site.
