Recently moved to Morgan heights area and passed by this place and decided to check it out. This was bar far the best swarma I’ve ever had, amazing flavour and great portion. Will definitely be returning.

i thought Cripsy Falafal was good until i tried Al Basha which i thought was good until i tried Falafal Plus on West Broadway which is super good and then… i found Kababji. best hummus ever and the pitas are grilled which transform the lowly white pita bread into something extra special. the lettuce is fresh and dark green, the tomatoes are red and the olive oil real. this is homemade authentic Lebanese food and it doesn’t get much better than this. except for the now defunct Habibi’s which used to be on West Broadway which made the best food i have every tried. now thanks to them i know what good Lebanese food tastes like and i can only eat in certain restaurants due to absolute lack of flavour in places like Nuba. there is no lack of flavour in Kababji. you will not be disappointed!

Nice sharwamas. The food was good, just needs to be a little faster. But, the sharwama was absolutely amazing. No kidding, it was my first time trying a sharwama, and it was amazing. I will probably come back, but one thing you should improve on is the speed. Keep going, guys!

This unassuming restaurant is a must when visiting MC. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, served with a smile and most of all… Delicious!!! The chicken shawarma is packed with good chicken(not the gristly bits) and finished in a panini press, which was a great touch!

We found it! The best chicken sharwama in lower mainland :) My Lebanese boss was very picky about his food and thus directed me to the best shawarma in Toronto. I have been on a search for something comparable in BC, and this place… made me so happy. The place was clean and it was pretty empty for a Friday night. But the food blew us away. We had chicken sharwama, lamb cube sandwich and kebbeh. Surprisingly, nothing let us down. Each bite hit the spot. We were impressed by the generous portion. The flavours blend perfectly together with quality meat and fresh ingredients. On top of that, the staff was friendly. We can’t wait to take our friends there: D

If it wasn’t for the distance, this could’ve been my very first 5 star for a Lebanese resto. boy, it’s that good worth driving to! Stumbled upon this while shopping, as its signage sure caught my interest. There you go, owners, spend a bit more $$$, and see what good happens ;) Open concept, nice décor with its Lebanese colours(red and white) with nice leather red seating on the sides, and high bar communal table right in the middle. Asked the nice owner for the most popular, so he suggest doing a half and half, chicken and lamb, cut into easy bites in the form of cubes, lots of rice and a decent-size salad, but the real winner, folks, were pita bread and the amazing hummus and the best garlic yogurt dip ever— period! I’m salivating as we speak/read/thinking lol. I considered ordering just the garlic dip again… but thought of how bad I smell in front of clients the next day, after a shower lol. For these platters, may be on the high end for $ 16, but it’s enough food for sure at one sitting, though I doubt there’s enough for leftovers(my personal gauge). This is a must-go. As long as you’re patient, did take close to 15 min but luckily, there’s Shaw wifi.

Had a good meal here today. Shawarma with fries. Shawarma was tasty with some nice spices. I liked it better than Crispy Falafal as it had much more authentic flavoring. Fellow seemed to be nice give them a try.

Love the food here. The kibbeh are amazing, love the sumac dressing on the fattoush salad. Chicken shawarma is delicious. The garlic sauce is really garlicky, but can’t stop eating it!

Seems like this is a small owner-run joint. I like the flavoring of their meat. It’s dry but it compliments all the veggies. The Shawarma is definitely my favorite off the menu, a must try.

Hummus was too saucy and not consistently properly made. Chicken, lamb and beef were cooked too much that I thought my teeth were going to rip out of my mouth, tabouli was delicious! The service was too slowwwwwww. They need to do better tweeking the recipes and cooking the meat better so they come out tender and not so hard and chewy because it gave my teeth a serious workout!
